Audiority Space Station UM282 v1.0.0 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 17 Jan 2022 | 13.2MB
UNIQUE STELLAR REVERB
The Space Station UM282 is a faithful simulation of the Ursa Major Space Station SST-282, an early 80’s echo and reverb unit.

Unlike other reverberation devices from that era, the Space Station used delay techniques to transform a mono signal into a new reverberated stereo signal.

Where traditional delay units of the past have only one or two taps, the Space Station has many: 8 taps are used for listening and the others are used to synthesize the reverberation.

That’s why the Space Station has been the secret weapon of many producers and engineers over the years.

SPACE STATION UM282 SPECIFICATIONS
Single Multi-tap Delay Line
8 Audition Taps
16 Audition Delay Programs
Up to 255ms delay time (extendable to 2.55 secs)
Up to 3.5s reverb time
Reduced bandwidth (20Hz-7kHz)
Echo Sync
Full Stereo Mode
Echo Only Mode
Delay Extension
Ducking
Resizable interface

A witch says,

Developer finally understood that
they put RSA PrivateKey to the DLL
instead of PublicKey, which breaks
all mathematical strength of RSA
protection :)

After our last attack in last September,
all old products have new RSA2048 keys
which was previously RSA512 protected.
Therefore, it won't be possible to
generate another valid license from
leaked license anymore. This means
RET Regged release won't happen
again.

Thanks R2R and DECiBELLE. So there we go again, R2R once again showing the developers how to do it properly.
Working : Windows 10 and Reaper 6.4.2

Wow. I had one of these in the mid 80s. Looking forward to this bad boy. I will report with any issues.

By the way, new Studio One 5.5.0, which is released here (not by R2R or RET) works awesome. I give it a try for a week and I didn't saw any errors yet...

Ohh, i just check the price of it, around 2500$...
You sir had a hardware unit, how does it compare to plugin?
Does it have that "Around the source" sound?

What a slap, guys! R2R continuing to make history.
Bought yesterday but will use this. Thanks R2R for existing!

I bought it yesterday for 39€ and it's a really great toy !! if you like it, give it a chance and buy it. it's not expansive. You have a preset called "Wide Crowd". It's the same CLA use for his "Crowd" Delay/Reverb

What's the story of CLA's Crowd setting?

check out the Waves CLA Epic plugin, it has 4 delay and 4 reverb settings that CLA mostly used on his mix based on his hardware FX sends. (AR-300, Sony DRE, Yamaha REV1, 480 &PCM42, EMT 246, M7, Eventide HE3000 & SP2016, Line6 Echo Pro, etc.)

The Crowd setting is one of the four delay settings, it's a Slap delay or some sort, tight to spread. He used it mostly for vocals, it is discussed in the Gearspace about that settings is from the Ursa Major Space Station. I don't know for sure, but I read about it there.

I personally think it's the "Microshift" settings on the Eventide HE3000 not the SST282, where in MWTM he said used that for short slap delay.

Thank you. Audio engineering is such a complex subject.

yeah, too complex I just use Waves H-Delay for every mix since forever ago and still happy with it.

No more "regged" (registered) releases from this developer. All future releases from this developer will have to have a keygen (license key generator) in order to be valid.

Looks like R2R is saying that their efforts of cracking plugins from this developer has taught the developer to protect their products more properly instead of the janky way that they were protecting their products. The janky way is what leads to plugins loading slowly, doing a lot of background processes, installing into several system directories, etc. And R2R has always had a problem with developers doing bad things just so they can "protect" their product.

R2R has already made child's play of almost all the protections in existence. So developers need to learn to develop their plugins with end user ease of use in mind and not their silly, and obviously pointless, protections because everything that is engineered, can be reverse engineered.

The most notably effect is that the plugin needs to be patched in order to work with the keygen.
  Member 21.07.2021 42

Why doesn't the developer remove all keys and make this donationware ?!???

I mean you could give me your car and I'd see if I can send you a donation if you like?

Very interesting delay box!

...And there's a setting that changes everything: the "Ducking" little button at the bottom right.

Basically it lowers the quantity of effect during the attack of the sound, so you can have a BIG reverb without drowning your sounds in the reflections!

Try for example "Large Reverb" with an electric piano, or a poly synth with an audible - fast - attack, then play with "Ducking" and "Mix" buttons... Ya see? You can have an enormous reverb without sacrificing the "readability" (the attack) of your chords, arpeggios, or melodies.

Of course you could do that with a comp, but it's cooler and easier to have it already in the box.
I'm alive!!! :D Isn't it astounding??? ;)

Crystallizer also has a ducking setting. Echoboy should have as well. Such a GOOD feature that wouldnt take much effort to implement and yet its rarely seen. Fortunately its also possible to achieve the same effect sidechaining a compressor after the delay
be kind :)

awww man, this is awesome, been looking for ursa type of delay/echo for quite sometime, didn't know audiority made one on plugin format, been using some old IR convo to get the ursa... i should giv it a try before buy for this one .. thanks R2R and decibelle

I was like, 'meh, do I *really* need another delay/reverb given that I've got so many fantastic ones that I barely use anyway?

But I downloaded it and gave it a spin. It's fantastic. I love it. I dunno if I'll ever use it but I'm so glad to have it.
