For some reason, on Spotify it records tracks in clips. 13 seconds, 3 seconds, 1 minute clip... Music plays fine on Spotify, but the recording stops and starts up again. And so on in pieces.

As of February 14, 2022 Kaspersky has noted this app as having "multiple vulnerabilities [that] were found in Google Chrome. Malicious users can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code, cause denial of service, bypass security restrictions." (https://threats.kaspersky.com/en/vulnerability/KLA12462/)

This application uses the "web version" of digital streaming platforms when it records audio instead of the desktop application. I have not used this application since January (sidenote: Spotify's web app is locked at 256kbps for mp3s) so I can't report any malware on my end. Not sure if using a different browser helps but I'd wait for an update.
