Yep, if you use faster speed then 1x for conversion, then Spotify can detect that and it's against their EULA.

Ah, thank god I finally found a version that still works.

Been using Sidify for years, haven't been banned yet... I always use the 1x conversion speed, since the faster speeds can also introduce skipping (and apparently get you banned).

But just in case, there's gotta be a way to backup your playlists, right?

For those of you still searching: Downloading from Spotify works really well with Audials One. I'm using this version:

It also supports a whole bunch of other stuff. Just takes a bit to get used to the new interface (which is really not quite as straightforward when you want to download from Spotify).

Here's hoping that it doesn't stop working every two months, like Sidify

A word to the wise, my Spotify account got disabled recently. I couldn't log in anymore. I've had my account since 2011 and it has never happened. I'm guessing it happened due to using Sidify. I never used Sidify above 1x though. So be careul.

I had to create a new spotify account to contact support and ask them to reactivate it

I never use my daily Spotify premium account with Sidify. I have a secondary FREE account to use for that sole purpose.

And I never use Sidify's "high-speed recording" function due to possible detection.

Better safe than sorry.
