There was another posted only minutes later than this one here. Daedulus is right, indeed. I downloaded both, but can´t see any difference. It´s the same amount of bytes with the same time stamps.

Superior Drummer 3.2.7 is now available to download using the Product Manager or from the ‘My Products’ area in your Toontrack account. Please note that version 3.2.7 is required for the support of Superior Drummer 3 products released from this point forward (Q4 2021).

CHANGES
Grooves Tab

User/third-party MIDI folders located in the Toontrack MIDI folder can now be resynced individually if needed.
E-Drums

Added a TD-50X preset with positional sensing for the new VH-14D digital hats.
BUG FIXES
General

Dragging a MIDI file containing note lengths 0 to SD3 would make it crash.
Song Track

The song track would not play during during “pre-roll” playback in Cubase.
Pasting MIDI from one instrument onto a song block would always change its Power Hand to that instrument.
Adjusting the length of a song block, dragging it to User MIDI and then back to the track would incorrectly bring back the full length of the block.
Aborting drags to the song track by pressing Esc did not hide the drag symbols (gray blocks).
Song Creator

The Song Creator worked poorly with other time signatures than 4/4 – song parts got wrong lengths.
The time signature on the song track now automatically changes when grooves from Song Creator are added to the track if they have a different time signature and the track is empty.
Grid Editor

Dragging a velocity node would incorrectly select and drag all nodes for the instrument.
Instruments/rows with an unmapped first articulation could not be reordered in the grid editor – they would always get moved to the bottom.
Drums Tab

On Windows, right-clicking an instrument, moving over a submenu and again right-clicking an instrument would sometimes leave the first menu open, and no menus would be possible to close after that.
Grooves Tab

In user/third-party MIDI folders located in the Toontrack MIDI folder, the family name of a groove is now set to its folder name if no header (in the Toontrack header system) exists. Earlier it became empty in that case. (“Sync File Changes” can be used to fix empty family names from earlier.)
The “Show MIDI Files from Subfolders” option now works on user/third-party MIDI folders located in the Toontrack MIDI folder.
Dragging MIDI over a User MIDI subfolder and aborting the drag with Esc didn’t remove the hover effect from the subfolder row.
The Tap2Find “MIDI Drop Zone” text had accidentally had its colors, font size and position changed (in version 3.2.5).
Dragging resized song blocks to Tap2Find could miss some notes at the very beginning or end of the block.
Mixer Tab

Header texts had gone missing for controls groups in the effect windows for Creative Filter, Plate Reverb, Room Reverb, Hall Reverb, Inverse Reverb and Filter Delay.
The layout in the Creative Filter window was broken.
Multiband Compressor had a solid-color gray area hiding most of the net-like background under the knobs. The meters in Comp 670 and Comp 76 had a similar graphical issue.
Horizontal dB lines were missing in Classic Compressor, Compressor/Limiter and Frequency Gate.
The dB lines in Frequency Gate were drawn at wrong intervals (not where the numbers were written).

Groove parts can’t be drag-merged into existing song blocks. Workaround: Right-click the groove in the browser, select Copy, right-click the song block and select Paste on Selected Block(s) > instrument part.

Awesome! I have a question. If I want to start from scratch, can I do the basic 3.0.1 installation and then run this update? Or is it more complicated? Which libs would I need and do I need to run any library updates as well?

Sorry if I sound like a noob... (let me be honest: when it comes to SD: I am a noob)

And well, now I am in noob mode anyway: I have a bunch of SD 2 add-ons lying around (Music City, NY), are they of any use with this?

You can probably just install the update here and that'll work. If not, yes, get the first one, then this update -- no need to install incremental updates. You need to get the sample libraries separately. This is normal, their UI will tell you you're missing libraries and you can download all or some of them, and it'll tell you what ones you have and don't have. The UI expects people to pick and choose the bits they want.

You will need to get the libraries from here (or torrents) -- you cannot download from the plugin itself.

If you want to use the core library, than start with the basic installation. On the other hand, if you have less space or aiming for certain styles/expansions you might consider installing just the update and the expansions you are looking for, without the core library. I don´t use the core library that often. Mostly I rely on Death & Darkness, Rooms of Hansa and Decades. But it all depends of what you are looking for. You can get decent results out of the core library.

Older SDX for Superior Drummer 2 have to be updated to work well with Superior Drummer 3. As far as I know Music City and the New York Studios have been updated to version 1.5. They were posted on this site as well. Just search for it.

since there were a release that conflict with the 3rd party MIDI library, can anyone confirm that it doesn't happen again with this one ?

Finally got better midi editing options. you can copy paste single drum parts out of grooves and add them to a block.

whats the new black box effects? i see black box reverb, black box tape, etc. they seem to work ok

Do you see those in EZX Expansions or also in SDX ones? I´m asking because from what I figured the "Black Box" effects are the ones from EZX Expansions, where you can´t modify them much. So if you use EZX expansions in SD, they are shown as "Black Box", which is the way their limited funcionality is displayed in SD.

Someone correct me if I´m wrong here :)

Thanks a lot. This works better now than the older version, load faster and no crash compared to the last version.
But most of the ezx expansion asking for update
