It is mostly low-level compression (upward compression) + limiter/clipper or so. Ozone maximizer is just limiter

You also have to use dither after this excellent limiter since it doesn't include it. That is, you have to use dither if you're not encoding directly to AAC or MP3.

As mentioned, it s capable of upward compression unlike traditional maximizers, but would also think it would stack perfectly in series before Ozone, squeezing a couple of dbs more out of Ozone instead of doing all the load on one processor

so the classiest thing as a dev to do is no cripple the software with encrytion, but trust that the customer pays and use a simple serial?
either that or encrypt the hell out of it -> looks at R2R unreleased list (tiny)

for electronic music this thing pumps too much then when no drums/breakdowns volume jumps out of the speakers, much prefer Pro L2 but most probably someone can use it to squeeze a few dbs before the final limiter.
