What is included here? It mentions SpectraLayers etc but in the past, it's never there. I take it that's still the case.

I too was super interested in spectralayers 8... but bad news.
I just installed it on VM, tried to edit it using spectralayers, no way. The same apply to melodyne.
On the top menu, there are 2 options, 'edit on spectralayers PRO', which is grayed out , and 'edit on spectralayers (ara2) '.
When I select the Ara2 option, nothing happens. Like the 'call the spectralayers app' function had been disabled.

On the top edit menu, there is a 'Ara2 view' entry. We get a small pop-up to 'activate spectralayers ara view'. I guess this activates the spectralayers tab at the bottom.
Again, nothing happens.

I then searched the drive, hoping there was some kind of spectralayers dll, vst3, exe file...but no.

I guess both melodyne and spectralayers exe/dll/vst3 files got removed, and all the functions calling those apps were also deleted.

100% SURE, no spectralayers or melodyne on this release.

Then, I read on the magix website Samplitude also comes with SL and melodyne.
So again, I installed samplitude on a virtual machine.
And I got the same results. No signs of both spectralayers and melodyne, on this samplitude release.

Just lost 1 hour, but hope this info will be useful.

Hi, thanks for checking. I recall trying on the last release but to no avail. I wonder if you installed the full versions of both Spectralayers and Melodyne, would Sound Forge recognize them and integrate them? It might be worth a try, what do you think?

The title is a little misleading, but I think that's the idea here As those third party software titles are available separately, one can obtain the "pro suite" by optionally installing them in addition.

Has anyone worked out how to change the name of who this is registered to?
In previous R2R release you R2R gave instructions (which worked) in thier info file.
No mention of it in this release and I tried the previous method but it does not work?

Is it possible to stop scanning plugins on startup?
