You can now finally enjoy the Reason and its plugins without any internet connections, forever!
The generated cache is only for R2R Reason (with R2R-WAIFU) release.

I tried everything to make a Rack Extension called Ghammy to work, but i could not sadly.
It seems i need a R2RCache file but i dont know how its generated or what is the correct way to add RackExtensions.

Hi Guys,

For all those who gets "failed to find cache file":
1. Open c:\users\<your username>\appdata\roaming\propellerhead software\R2RRECACHE and place all your R2RRECACHE files there.
2. Place the folder with the RE files in c:\users\<your username>\appdata\roaming\propellerhead software\RackExtensions.
3. Run the cache builder
4. Run Reason and enjoy
Tested and working!

Read R2R.txt for instruction, it's not hard to understand

- Grab your favorite RE from R2R release (It's has only 3 REs (from Synapse Audio) release at the time I written this).
- Extract it, you will found one folder + one .R2RRECACHE file
- Place folder to %APPDATA%\Propellerhead Software\RackExtensions\
- Place .R2RRECACHE file to %APPDATA%\Propellerhead Software\R2RRECACHE\
- Run The Cache Builder

Ah ok, so I did a search of Synapse Audio here, and found the 3 you mentioned. Becoming more clear now where to find the files in the text. Newbies have to kind of read between the lines. Finding our way. You guys assume a lot but we are trying to catch up. Found the 3 synapse audio titles.

Now that I went and got the 3 synapse audio rack extensions (by searching here), I followed the instructions and it's working. So THAT is what you need to do if you haven't figured it out yet. Up until he mentioned the synapse audio titles I had no idea where to find these files mentioned in the text. Guys should not assume we are aware of these things when you give instructions. If he had not let it slip that we need the synapse audio extensions I would still be in the dark. Works like a charm once you know to go get those. Thanks!

no. you will need R2R versions of those

Edit: Ok, so like they said, legit Reason does not even see this at all. Getting the R2R release installed soon so will update. Meanwhile, it would be amazing if we had a way to make recache of our own RE;s :P
