Signum Audio Bute Limiter 2 (Stereo/Surround) v2.0.0 WiN - JustFun598 - ReadNFO screenshot
Windows (64): VST2/VST3 | 3.2 MB
High Fidelity, Ultra-Transparent True Peak Brickwall Limiting with support for Multiple Workflows.

Ultra-Transparent Limiting
BUTE Limiter 2 delivers high fidelity, ultra-transparent True Peak Brickwall limiting with a streamlined and sleek user interface. BUTE's focus is on eliminating distortion while retaining the characteristics of your audio in a natural way.

Comprehensive yet flexible UI
Get in-depth analysis or a compact read-out. BUTE Limiter 2 features an interactive history view for examining True Peak, Gain Reduction, Threshold and output readings - choose to see an overview or zoom in to a particular part. If any True Peak overshoots are introduced via the Post-Gain functionality, BUTE Limiter 2 will flag them up in the history with warnings. The history view also supports re-metering via automatic DAW sync and will update the readings when the limiter settings are altered, showing how the new settings will affect your audio.

Support for multiple workflows
BUTE Limiter 2 includes a Pre Gain to push or reduce the incoming signal’s volume before Limiting as well as Post Gain that will be applied after limiting.

Compatibility:
Windows 8.1 or higher (64-Bit)

NOTE:
Every time a new instance of the plugin is run you will have to press on the activate button, that is the only downside, no need to worry if you close it in your current session, it will remain activated!

Cheers!

Windows 7 compatible? Usually requirements are win 8.1 or win 10, but in reality many releases suppprt win 7.
Can't check right now

Sometimes windows 8.1 or/and 10 is minimum, but it works on win7....
That's why I ask...
Reaper and dmg audio are the best and they work on older systems... So, if win 10 is minimum, but it might work on win7, and it is not mentioned.

Arturia is Win 8.1 minimum, but all synths work fine on my win7

Thank you fro replying. reason I'm asking is that the installer not giving the choice to choose what to install and the installation path only shows one. I guess the first path is for VST2 and the normal is VST3

AFAIC, I get 2 paths, VST3 ( first ) + VST2, showing up like this - WIN10 x64 - with a choice of destination(s).

Its funny cuz here I got only one Path that goes direclty like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bute Loudness Normaliser

And then second page " Select Start menu folder" and then INSTALL

Thats why i was asking to be sure ;-)

Hmm weird, Just like you can see in DAW`s picture, that is how it should look, and those two shown locations are the default ones, so if by some weird reason you don`t get to choose where to install, the plugins will go to those folders.

Remind me : from which planet and dimension(s) are you ? Maybe it's due to inequate generalized vector dominance model and deep inelastic electron-meson scattering ?

Nah, be reassured : that's not " you " at all. It's the web programming of those quotes imbricated as Russian dolls...
