This audio editing software is a full-featured professional audio and music editor for Windows and Mac. It lets you record and edit music, voice and other audio recordings. When editing audio files, you can cut, copy and paste parts of recordings, and then add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction. WavePad works as a wav or mp3 editor, but it also supports a number of other file formats including vox, gsm, wma, real audio, au, aif, flac, ogg, and more.

They do not provide any feedback to users, 'changelogs' contain only release date, 'main' or 'beta' and OS, and the program is always in beta stage.
The built-in bug reporting module returns "this site can not be reached" for years. Takes several minutes to reload plugins (can handle x86 VST2 only), and you can not sort them in any order in the drop down menu. No tick boxes for single plugins, so it offers 'all-or-none' approach. Immediately crashes on any mouse action with jbridged plugins, in chaining mode shows window for a single plugin only (i.e. one by one). VST window must be closed first in order to get access to main graph window. Can read up to 28 plugin folders, if you have more you can not access the rest (...x-y-z folders). Incorporates at least six layers of self-advertising (start menu links, desktop links, creeps into context menus /for about 320 audio or video extensions/, periodic advertising in status bar inside the program, as well as masked links in some setting tabs(!), and icons in the tool bar). Does not support level 8 of FLAC compression.
Otherwise it is lovely and it is my favourite sound editor.
