And it seems to have a new license system I hope whoever runs R2R untangles the new system. Maybe it is internally similar to the old one, no idea, but at least from the user viewpoint it is evident the license system is new.

SOLVED: the windows realtime protection had turned off by itself after some minutes of turning it off.

Keygen throws a 'Cannot find required file' . I have Windows antivirus and ransomware off, the same for malwarebytes protection layers. I tried putting the generated license file in the same folder as the keygen file...

Note: I see that even that Windows antivirus is turned off, each time that I execute the keygen it quarantines a file in \AppData\Local\Temp\R2RSWKG.dll

If this file is necessary for the installation, I don't know how to prevent windows antivirus from tracking it, as it is already turned off. Even if I restore the file, it will catch it again, no matter if I execute the keygen with admin rights.

Any ideas? thanks in advance.

You can make exclusions in Windows Security. You don't have to rely on having it turned off.

That's why the integrated Windows security solution sucks.
I'm living very good without it, removed it from my windows image before installing windows and what can I say, my PC feels like I upgraded to a faster m.2 SSD and more RAM.

Hi r4e! Do you mean you have unistalled Windows defender, antivirus, firewall, etc? If so, what do you use to protect pc in Windows 10? I know audio pc should not have access to internet, but I can't do that now. This is the reason I'm asking. Also, I do feel too that W10 integrated security solution makes my pc drag.

SOLVED: After so much time I managed to fix Systemwide not working on Windows to listen to Spotify, rendered mixes in VLC, etc... I disabled ALL the audio device drivers except my Steinberg UR242 and Sonarworks Virtual Audio Device.I also included in the blacklist file all the disabled audio drivers (MK2, Waves AudioGrid, etc) just in case.

Oh man this is so good, now my humble JBL 3 monitors seem to translate almost exactly what I listen in the DAW. I'm happy, I cannot tell how much I owe to R2R, DECiBELLE and everyone at AudioZ plus many heroes in the community

I've bought the original sonarowrks v4 and working with it till today. If I uninstall it and install this latest version, will I run into troubles/conflicts? Any thoughts?

This release seems to fix a little more random crackling with Systemwide when increasing buffer sizes. It's quite anoying but the frequency at which they appear decreassed.

Guys..we have a huge problem... I've updated to the latest windows insider dev build and it breaks the sound engine of this version. It will not work with any way. I've tried everything.
So expect next windows update to break it :((

The only thing that worked was to download a trial of the latest "SoundID" version which works as expected..although i hate the new interface, it's a mess plus you can't set up presets for the same device which is annoying (i used to change calibration profile from speakers to headphones in one click)..now it's a mess edit: i found a way to fix it, you need to click to a different target first, then it will regard it as a separate preset)

I really hope they manage to crack it or give us a tool to change system id in order to extend the 21 trial period :/

So my guess you won't see a cracked version anytime soon unless the cracking groups wanna have some fun cracking..

On the other hand Reference 4.4.8 might not have this issue :/

I tried disabling windows real time protection but even the 3rd time I downloaded it there was no keygen. No 3rd party AV here.

That may be the problem, windows Av is almost impossible to truly control.

OK this was total user error, sorry. What I was doing was looking inside the archive in winrar, and seeing only an exe, thinking that was the program, and that there should be a a keygen & nfo to go with it. Only after I tried extracting it with winrar and it failed, did I realize I needed to use 7zip, and that it was archives within archives.

Also, as someone else mentioned, I had to turn off real time protection twice. Didn't feel like trying to set up an exception since I'll only use the keygen once. We'll see how it goes! Thanks!

Edit: The instructions included were fantastically written (make sure to do OFFLINE activation, it's small print, but it's there on the app in blue), and I had no trouble with anything. I meticulously followed the directions, taking my time and not rushings, re-reading them numerous time before doing anything, and everything seems to be working fine and my headphones were on the list. Real time protection is back on and all is well.

If your headphones sound like shit when you turn it on (and you do have to toggle it on!) that just means it's working! A flat response does indeed sound awfully....flat. LOL

On a side note: if you plan to use more warez, you should think of using a good antivirus and firewall.
As windows protection will on one side not protect effectively and on the other side detect a lot of false positives.

Thanks! I used to use Avast, but last I checked (a year ago) it conflicted with Steam VR. Do you have any recommendations?

I'm hoping to go light as possible on the warez but it never hurts to have some extra protection.
