Tone Empire BlackQ V2 v1.1.2 Incl Keygen (WiN and OSX)-R2R screenshot

A NEW AND IMPROVED VERSION OF BLACK Q – V2, NOW FEATURES OVERLAPPING BANDS AND NEW FREQUENCY RANGES AS WELL AS OVERSAMPLING FOR MORE “ANALOG” BEHAVIOR

The Philosophy behind Smooth Tube EQ

At Tone – Empire we are obsessed with “Sound”

We recently brought a vintage unit to life by building the hardware version over 6 months, changing tubes, transformers and signal paths.

In this quest, we build a ” Golden Unit ” with “Super Powers”

We had the idea then to model this circuit with 2 paths involving sowter and lundahl transformers and some choices of vintage valves.

The result was simply “Stunning”

Then combining this with a versatile EQ Design, we developed a monster Tube EQ in the DSP world, a kind of hybrid with a sound going from ” Clean and Silky ” to full-on ” Crunchy ” sounding saturations.

TYPE A gives you a great “FULL” sound including a “Big” Low end and TYPE B gives you a crunchier mid/high enhanced sound.

These choices make it possible to use this eq on a variety of sound materials from Drums to vocals, Piano, string instruments, Bass, Synths and as a mastering unit itself.

There are eq better than this for free. This dev is a joke.

As someone literally surrounded with all the actual analog gear a lot of these plugins try to emulate, I have to say I disagree with the statement this dev is a joke. These are decent plugins in my opinion. Perhaps not fully on the level of Acustica Audio (no one really is quite frankly) but certainly as good as many of the UAD and other plugs out there.

well this is first time I'm hearing something controversial like this. This dev has history of picking up open source code of plugins, added fancy GUI and marketed them. If you said they can get to the UAD level, it means even the UAD is a joke as well.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

Don't know about UAD. Acustica Audio, definitely more fine tuned. Where ever they got the code, the EQ sounds pretty good.

Acustica Audio plugins are not as good as you might think. I don't understand why so many people on here are praising them. Maybe because they aren't scrutinized as they are quite expensive for just "sampled" material... Many of their plugins behave really bad in a lot of situations, acting up and destroying materials by adding a few dB's of saturation only by turning the plugins ON even though everything is set to zero and pre-amps ans shit are turned off.... It's major bullshit and low quality behaviour - it's tricking a lot of newbies to hear "aah it sounds better" just because it's louder. Sometimes the plugins act up adding more saturation randomly(!)... This is really obvious when working with clean loops. There has to be other mixing engineers than myself that has noticed this.....

And their support is kind of bullshit as well when you send them everything they need to know to reproduce the bugs.. Of course I haven't tried all of their plugins so maybe they do have some good ones. But who needs CPU intensive plugins like that when there are other plugins that do the job? Just because it's "sampled from analog" doesn't mean it's good..
I have used some Acustica plugins but hey are a mess.. it's not worth the money or the time trying to figure WHY they act different at different times even though it's just playing back the same material (a loop)... that is not what any hardware or software should do. Non-linear doesn't mean that it should be random...

UAD has made some bullshit plugins as well.. I own a couple of them. It's just not worth the money, many times it's all about the label and hype. High price = good products most of us thinks. Add a famous label and some famous mixing engineers .. voala: profit!

Waves has made some really shitty plugins as well, but also very good ones. It's unfortunate...

Sometimes the market and the "mixing" scene feels like the audiophile community. A lot of bullshit. :(

Dude, you don't have enough money to buy their plugins? Your trials have run out of time and now you're just mad at the world? You're talking such bullshit.

Guys, if you're replying to someone there's no need to use the quote feature unless you only quote a small selection of their response to point out and hone in on for your comment. If you're responding to the whole comment then just use reply without quoting. It's already known that you're responding to what they said in their comment because you're using reply and your response is indented under the comment it's replying to. Otherwise, it just wastes space and the information is redundant.

well clearly this guy is high , like all those fancy plugins are just according to taste , and yeah i agree about saturation without doing anything as these plugins are made to sounds like the real deal (Pultec eq) for eg has this same issues you get saturation by just putting it on a loop , but it is on purpose as pultec hardware does the exact same.
