An easy way to slow down the music without changing the pitch!

Amazing Slow Downer is available for Windows and Mac computers as well as Android and iPhone/iPad devices. Click on one of the links below to read more, look at a screenshot, listen to some audio samples or download the trial version.

Change the speed of the music - from 20% (one fifth speed) to 200% (double speed) without changing the pitch.

Wrong key? Change the pitch in semi-tones - at full or changed speed.

Out of tune? Adjust the pitch in cents (100ths of a semi-tone) to suit your instrument.

Real-time processing - all described above is done in real-time - just insert the CD and press the play button!

Also slows down MP3, Wave, Windows Media Audio, Ogg, FLAC and AAC/M4A files on your computer in real-time.

How much is this software really necessary? Isn't that something our DAWs do? Or is it far superior in final quality?

It´s easier to load a file, easier to set the changes you need and all from the desktop without open any daw, and the sound quality is very good. Thanks Sunny.

I was recently changing pitch on a 25 -> 24 fps video conversion. Slowing down the audio was fine, but I wanted to keep the correct pitch at the 25 fps. I used Audacity with the high quality box ticked, but on playback noticed a metallic kind of echo sound (it was mostly talking / narration). So I tried 2 different DAW's (one was Reaper, I forget the other one now), and I got the same kind of artifact, although not as bad as Audacity. Finally I used Amazing Slow Downer, using the best quality settings, and I got no echo or artifacts whatsoever.

Take from that experience what you will. :P

I just wish it output 32 bit float. It outputs 16 bit PCM as the max quality, and the author has stated that he's not going to add 24 or 32 bit float output, which I think is a shame.

Use pitchshift / speedchange in SOUND FORGE Pro . In my oppinion the best.
