Yes you can I have Analog Lab 4 and 5 side by side on my Windows 10 download Laptop & both work great.
Im wondering if the old Cracked Analog Lab 4 preset work on Analog Lab 5? Does anyone know (I havent tried them yet as Im working at present) will try them later or tomorrow.
So if anyone knows then please let us know?

For my main PC, I can't install these VR Arturia releases, always get an "out of memory error", which is wrong, as I have 32gb of ram. They install fine on my other pcs

Anyone know why that is? (I have to use R2R releases, which install fine)

Naitguy found the issue and fixed it, worked for me too.

Basically I ran windows update and rebooted.

Never have any such problem with any other s/w, just this VR stuff, and only on a couple of my pcs, fine on others, all running win10.

Just odd that no one on AZ has seen this as well.

Hmm... weird. Tried it on my machine and it worked just like usual! Maybe something wrong with the installer but it only affects certain machines. Can't help you though :/ Sry!

I have this problem too, with Synthi collection. I just wandered over here to see if anyone had the same problem and now a solution. This is completely new to me with V.R releases. They've always worked. But with V.R's new release for Synth Collection, I'm getting out of memory errors.

I'm not doing anything weird here either. Installing from the same drive I normally would, to the same folders I normally would.

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB of ram, lots of HD space on all drives. Disabled antivirus, even tried running as Admin. Tried installing in a folder outside of my usual install location, and I get the error too. I tried skipping files, and it just keeps giving the same error.

Sample error:


c:\VSTs\64bit\Arturia\PlugIn.ico

An error occurred while trying to read the source file:

Out of memory.

If I skip that, it will just say same error for another file name, in that folder, or program files somewhere.

I used to have a V.R V Collection 8 on here, but that was uninstalled, and the folders where it was installed to are even gone. Not sure what to do.

Yes, v much this. My other pcs have zero issue with this release. Just mysterious, not helped with the error that is simply not being accurate.

Finally got it working... I'm not sure which step did it:

- Installed pending windows update.. even an optional update. Rebooted lots in that process. After all the pending update was done and it rebooted, it still didn't work though. I installed the optional update (Update 20H2) whilst trying several other things, so I'm not sure what fixed it.
- Disabled EVERYTHING running that I didn't need.
- Ran installer from a different directory.

So something in there seemed to have been the magic fix, but I can't tell you what. I assume it was some background process that wasn't playing nice. I have quite a few that were running, but of course not enough to come close to a memory error.. but perhaps something was conflicting with the installer.

By memory, what I closed off (in task tray):
Spotify, Citrix, Himachi, MalwareBytes (had tried this before though, with no success), GOG Galaxy, Plex, Sandboxie, CCleaner, Argus Monitor

EDIT: The fix was to download/install any pending/optional updates. Perhaps all I needed was 20H2, but either way.. if you get this error, check for pending/optional updates that are waiting.

I did the same, updated, rebooted. Fixed now. V v odd.

Updating Windows to 20H2 now....fingers crossed. I only have one main rig with 6 drives in it, If I can get this to work I'll do a dance!

Has any else released that this is NOT FOR WINDOWS 7 (or am I the last Windows 7 user on the planet, ha, ha)
Luckily I have our systems but my Best has been Windows 7, Which Unfortunately This Doesnt Work Not.
Like Waves, Cubase 11, etc, the world seems be moving towards Windows 10 (which I dont like as much as Windows 7 unfortunately, but maybe one day soon I will have to take a leap)

Hmm, I keep getting this error:

"c:\ProgramData\Arturioi\Presets\User
An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 183.
Cannot create a file when that file already exists"

I tried running in admin mode.
