Elephant is a transparent mastering limiter plug-in for professional music production applications - it provides sound limiting and loudness maximization without any audible "pumping" effects.

Elephant features a variety of limiter modes that can be deeply customized, and a comprehensive set of level metering tools. It can be used for mixing and mastering of both stereo and multi-channel music and sound material, at any standard sample rate.

Elephant, also featuring a DC offset filter, and a high-quality bit-depth converter with optional noise-shaping, allows you to finish your music and audio productions with a spark.

Added the "True Peak/Sample Peak" switch.
Redesigned the knob image.
Extended the "Color Editor" with color modifiers.

Very useful DC filter set at 10 kHz gives a rolloff of -0.5 dB@20 Hz, -2.5 dB@10 Hz and even -10 [email protected] Hz thus relieving DAC and analogue reproduction gear of unnecessary heavy load.
Although it works in frequency region that's beyond our hearing, you can clearly hear the sound reproduction improvement due to hardware load relief.

10kHz = 10Hz. And yes, DC filter in Elephant is perfect for finalising your track! Plus Gauss dithering, Voxengo linear phase oversampling and really transparent limiting. Especially when you're just trying to put that final shine on the mix, not squash every little bit of dynamics left in it. Pun intended, of course.

Best digital limiter there is, IMHO. One thing, though - RTFM! It really helps you to choose the right settings for your material. You always have to read the manual before, or rather during using any of the Voxengo plugins.
