I confess that I cannot explain why this Dopamine plugin works, but how it works is by adding some secret spice, good mojo and the nectar of soulfull sweetness. It's fucking voodoo I tell you.

It just replicates the highs boosting side of old DOLBY A tape noise reduction units.
It uses parallel (upward) compression to boost the high end by summing up the chosen amount of already existing harmonic content in the material.
This method does not produce artifacts because it is not generating non-existent harmonics by synthesizing, like ordinary 'exciters' do so it is more 'natural'.

For Mac users, i tried unsuccessfully to get this to authorize, it kept opening as demo, i tried everything suggested here to no avail.
Finally got it to work!
For me it was mac address part in the keygen, i was copying and pasting my mac address but the keygen wasn't taking all the numbers and letters, i had to remove all the colons ( and it does specifically say that in the instructions here but i overlooked it ).
So for example; my mac address is 40:6c:8f:b8:6b:a2
i pasted it into the keygen but only 40:6c:8f:b8: was really pasting
you have to remove the colons and paste 406c8fb96ba2
then i dragged the files into the GEMS folder and Voila! no more demo mode.

I put the dopa.ol2 file in both library locations but I am not sure how to block overloud.com and stop it calling home?? running Mac 10.15.6 anyone help please?

However I think there *might* be an issue so far with reg as it only boots up in demo mode

I think your right too, the reg file don't seem to work as it only boots up on demo mode.

Editing the host file in terminal is one way, google it to find out how exactly. Another, easier way is to use Hands Off where you can control all of our web traffic/firewall in one single convenient application. Takes a while to learn the details of it but will be very easy to add new rules later. Most Adobe apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) will not even launch when they notice a firewall app being active. For those to work one has to bypass all rules and physically disconnect the internet (so that they can't call home). Then, Adobe stuff will work fine.

False. Restarting your machine does not create the folder. Even if you open the app before restating.

I have restarted and no new folder was created.

I can confirm it is working on Mac 10.15.6, using terminal I blocked www.overloud.com and it then loaded with out issue..
