MAGIX coreFX Suite v1.2.2-V.R screenshot

ENHANCED CREATIVITY FOR PROFESSIONAL MIXING & MASTERING
The AUDIO PLUGIN UNION coreFX Suite is the ultimate bundle for mixing and mastering. The Suite delivers all the essential tools and includes nine powerful core effects for creative sound manipulation on any DAW, whether PC or Mac: Five plug-ins for precise dynamic control, three delay effects for creating echo and reverb, plus a rhythm effect for contemporary productions.

coreFX 2-Point Compressor
The coreFX 2-Point Compressor contains two inflection points – one more than a standard compressor. Greater freedom for compressing the dynamic curve results in a significantly louder, powerful audio signal that's more prominent against other sound sources.

coreFX VolumeFormer
A pump effect without complicated sidechain routing coreFX VolumeFormer can be used for rhythmic changes to volume. The AHR (attack-hold-release) envelope and the rhythm can be freely modified. This creates the gate or sidechain effect that's popular in the current dance scene.

coreFX VolumeFormer
A pump effect without complicated sidechain routing coreFX VolumeFormer can be used for rhythmic changes to volume. The AHR (attack-hold-release) envelope and the rhythm can be freely modified. This creates the gate or sidechain effect that's popular in the current dance scene.

coreFX Compressor
Achieve perfect compensation:
The coreFX Compressor is used to even out volume differences between signals in an audio track. Compressing the audio signal results in a significantly fuller and clearer overall sound.

coreFX Limiter
Push it to the limit: The coreFX Limiter sets a maximum output level for an audio signal, which cannot be exceeded. Ratio and threshold for the maximum volume can be controlled in this way to limit dynamics in the final mastering process.

coreFX Gate
The coreFX Gate suppresses faint background noise that occurs during signal transmission – for uninterrupted acoustic enjoyment. This reduces noise and crosstalk, and manipulates attack and decay times.

coreFX Expander
The coreFX Expander works as a companion to a compressor and lets you achieve a particularly natural sound. The dynamic range of an audio signal is expanded, noise suppressed and the envelope of individual signals changed.

coreFX Delay
From subtle to special effects and clean to dub echo – with coreFX Delay, various vintage echo devices can be simulated. coreFX Delay creates a natural-sounding echo effect

coreFX Chorus
Achieve more fullness and warmth for vocals, guitars and synths: This creates a lively effect of a several instruments played simultaneously.

coreFX Flanger
The jet effect for sound coloration of drums, guitars and synths. This lends a unique characteristic to individual sounds and lets you achieve the classic flanging effect.

Thank you V.R. You've done a great job!

These plugins are amazingly good, especially the 2-Point Compressor which I've just tested on a recent (almost) final mix with great results (presence and clarity).

Magix DAWs comes with EQ already loaded in the mixer by default, that maybe the explanation.

How " far " does the install go ? Does it block immediately or does it switch to the 2nd, 3rd,... windows when you click on it / them ?

If the install at least launches, I suppose you've checked that the destinations of the dlls, shown in the 2nd window, are correct for your configuration ?

The install goes up to the end without problem and yes of course I checked the dll paths for my system. The problem is that NO dll's are copied at all to the destination folders.

* Of course you checked the boxes of which of the 5 plugin types to install ? ( page 3 => " Custom Installation " )

* What happens if you ask the installer to copy the content in another, " new ", special directory ?

* Does this older version install itself correctly ? =>

* If you copy this dll I've uploaded - for example it's the cFX_TwoPointCompressor_x64.dll - in your " correct " directory, do you see it ?

=> Get it here => DLL

* The default " correct " locations, given by the 2nd window of the full install, are :

VST2 32 bits => C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VSTPlugins

VST2 64 bits => C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins

into a (new) folder named " AUDIO PLUGIN UNION ".

Dudes, I did not install VST2 only 3, but they now do not install under MAGIX name. The folder it makes is C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\AUDIO PLUGIN UNION

...so, for VST2, your system likely has it at C:\Program Files\Vstplugins\AUDIO PLUGIN UNION

Clean install highly recommended. Remove old with normal method, first.

Wow-I wonder if this is MAGIX strangeness or V.R strangeness.
My bet is that it is MAGIX.
Yes, I use Vegas, but only the portable version, well-packaged

So, dark magus, did you copy into its place the plug-in I've uploaded for you to test this ?

Again : =>

Originally it goes into a (new) folder named " AUDIO PLUGIN UNION ", as precised above.

Put it in such a new folder or : wrap the R2R version that you wrote you use with WiNRAR and overwrite the dll with this newer one*, so that you can go back if needed ( deleting the newer, unwrapping the older into place again ).

EDIT * : or delete the R2R one and copy the newer one into its place.

Yes I copied the dll into the usual VST folder, I have no idea what this AUDIO PLUGIN UNION is, because the V.R installer did not create it.

So does that new one work now ?

Did you / can you track where the others are installed / extracted ?

Yes the new one copied in my VST plugins path is working and I have no idea where the dll's from the V.R release were extracted, but certainly not in the destination paths specified on the installer, otherwise I will have found them. I've uninstalled and went back to the R2R precending release.

OK ! So, then, here is the full x64 set ( the 9 VSTs ) :

=> 21.66 MB

The presets are included in each VST and nothing else is needed.

You can overwrite the older ones, or create a new folder to copy / paste them there if you prefer .

Hey DAW, thanks a lot for caring! Finally I reinstalled the V.R release and this time I saw the freaking AUDIO PLUGIN UNION folder inside my VST folders, so I just move the dll's into my MAGIX folders. The first time I was not looking for this folder and did not see that it was created into my VST folder.
