i3 16gb 2.0 ghz (Steam Train) 1tb and 2 x8tb and 5tb External drives. Laptop
i7 16gb 3.4 ghz1tb and 8tb external and Blue Ray writer. Desktop.

Thank God I brought these when I had good income. Now I cannot even afford Chandler and Kush Audio software. You need to buy when you get that bonus.

I buy many developers software posted on here at least once per month . This platform allows us to test it out.

nice setups. especially the desktop. i want to upgrade to an i7 myself down the line but at the moment this i5 serves me well enough for me needs. whats a steam train? i'm a broke musician myself, never spent a penny on plugins (i know it's a shame), but through this website i became a pretty good mixing engineer :-)

Loved the DAW since v.6 but started getting a bug in the TR-808 VST where extending the VST window would cause part of the VST to not be visible. The only to fix it was closing and opening the VST again. It was a minor thing but bugged me enough to try another DAW. I discovered Studio One 4.5 and the VST expanded perfectly in there. I also loved the way Studio One categorizes VST's by Vendor. I have to say although I still love the intuitive and fun interface of Mixcraft 8 Studio One has proven to be just too solid of a DAW to go back.

edit: Oh I also love how Studio One tabs the VST's into one window that is a very nice feature as well. Honestly I'd still be using Mixcraft right now if I wasn't thinking too far down the road. I still believe it's a great DAW I just wish it was tightened up a little bit more

This COULD be a good DAW, but there are very restrictive GUI issues, especially when using multiple monitors. Many windows, including plugin windows, are either very small, or way too large and these screens cannot be resized.
After reading some of the blogs on Mixcraft, this issue has been plaguing users for a long time, yet Mixcraft refuses to solve the issue.
If a DAW such as Cakewalk (which is now free) can have no problems with these GUI issues, why can't Mixcraft follow suit?
Also, it installs it's own version of Melodyne which overwrites any existing installation. Not good, if you know what I mean.
Off to the trash bin it goes.

This was exactly my issue with it and it was a GUI issue. Roland TR-80 would not display properly in the plugin window even though all you had to do with close it and reopen it it was just something that made me question the long term use of the program. I really loved it and wanted to stick with it but already working with Studio One which is no slouch.
