NATIVE 1.80

IMPORTANT! 1.80 utilizes the new Helix Core engine, which unifies all Helix and HX products into the same ecosystem. Because there are tons of changes under the hood, presets created in 1.80 will not be compatible with earlier firmware, which means if you want to return to 1.71 for whatever reason, and you didn’t back up before updating to 1.80, your presets will NO LONGER WORK. Therefore, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND everyone back up everything BEFORE updating.

Bug Fixes

In some cases, an error message would appear when clicking redo after deleting a block
After cutting or clearing a block, its bypass/controller assignments could be lost
Stepping through presets in order could be redone reliably, but not undone
When changing models, clicking Undo could inadvertently clear automation assignments of common parameters
Helix Native could not instantiate in hardened runtime builds of Cubase 10.5
When in Hardware Compatibility Mode for HX Stomp, a direct (dry) signal could be heard
Undo/Redo was limited to 31 steps
In rare cases, clicking Undo or Redo could change a Cab > Dual block into a Cab > Single block
Other minor bug fixes

Helix is really good, though...I recently bought a Strymon Iridium and the way it reacts to my playing makes me feel as if I'm playing a real amp (minus the moving air). I've not ever had more fun playing in the box, not ever. I highly reccomend demoing one if you can as the cabinet and amp tones are stellar and you can also load your own favorites. 5 stars.
