ValhallaVintageVerb is a postmodern reverb plugin, inspired by the classic hardware digital reverbs of the 1970s and 1980s.

Changes since 1.7.1:

Chaotic Neutral. This is a new reverb mode, with smooth chaotic modulation, and a β€œneutral” tonality that makes it perfect for almost any reverb application!
VST3 (in addition to VST 2.4, AU, AAX)
Fixed the Ambience algorithm, to avoid β€œechoes” that a few users reported on occasion.

best sounding lowest cpu verb(at least w the default algo) of them all! had about 44 instances running at once in ableton9 for a generative installation and my crappy i7 2ghz didnt even break a sweat over 30%.
make music, not walls.

Haha, yeah, I feel ya on the shitty setup. Every once in a while a plugin comes along that is solid *and gives you system a break--this reverb is golden.

You know when devs know how to code, when you insert a plug-in hundreds of times, and the cpumeter barely moves...

Valhalla. .. Mmelda.... Overloud...

The fantastic reverb from overloud, Breverb, which, imho, is one of the best reverbs ever made, can be instanciated hundreds of times, even in a 7yo computer. ..
...because it uses a super efficient assembler code.

Then, we have some lazy devs: 4 or 5 instances, and we're close to 100% cpu.

Probably 99% of the audio companies use c++ and juce-like libraries, to work super fast, and only a few brave genius dare coding in assembler. ..

Too bad, because any stuff coded in assembler is at least 10 times more efficient than c++

But companies don't give a fuk about that, as they think 'oh, the user has a 6..8..12 core cpus, he will already be happy if he can run 10 instances'...

I generate a XML file but when I locate that said "Invalid"

I had this problem but then tried saving the xml to my desktop and then it worked.

Beware about backwards compatibility! The default setting is loaded within all my projects (Studio One), replacing the tweaks i've done... Back to 1.71
