I've found the solution to this.

1. Download the previous release (1.5).
2. Install the software from the previous version (1.5).
3. Use the K'd from this version (1.8).
4. Copy “XLN Online Installer” from the previous release (1.5) to:
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio
5. Mount “Addictive Keys.iso” from this release (1.8) and copy “Addictive Keys” folder to:
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio
6. Follow the instructions from this release (1.8): copy log, generate keygen, etc.

*Note: only the standalone app and the AU work. Unfortunately, the VST doesn't. If you can't see the AU plugin after the installation try restarting your Mac.

There is no installer, you've gotta manually install everything.

- Open Addictive Keys.iso and copy the Addictive Keys folder to
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/

- Then extract XLN_AddictiveKeys_118_OSX.7z, open the extracted folder and move the following:
Plug-Ins/Addictive Keys.component to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
Plug-Ins/Addictive Keys.vst to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
Applications/XLN Audio to /Applications

Installation's done, now follow the txt instructions.
PS: The standalone app had no executable permission so if you want to use it, edit permission using batchmod or chmod command in terminal.

Thanks for this Gizmotech. I followed this but I am unable to open the application to generate the log file. When I run the application, it says the application cannot be opened. I did chmod as well but still get the same error. When I open logic, it doesn't detect the plugin.

When you say follow the txt instructions, do you mean just the bit about log file and Keygen? Also then you say copy Addictive Keys folder, is it the folder within the .iso file? When I read the txt file, it says copy the library folder but I can't find that?

Can you please help as I have spent 2 hours trying to figure this out and I still can't get this to run....

can you make an alias to the sound lib on OS X? (like you can with the STEAM folders and whatnot? ) These things keep bloating my system drive as good as they can be...

i am able to use the kg in crossover mac which means it should work in windows.

Try changing the 'compatibility mode' to win7 or less. That has worked for me with KGs on the odds occasion

Was having a similar issue, turns out the file names were inconsistent in my downloads. Check if all the files have the same name, only the rar part numbers should be different.

similar issue here but the au plugins load properly in ableton live 10.1 not sure why the au plugins crash LPX.

I have problems to extract the rar files from uploaded (some files are corrupted). I tried to rename each files, but it's the same issue... Did anyone have the same mistake and/or solved it ?
