Our Kee Bass VST/AU plugin is based on the original electronic schema and an actual physical Kee Bass. Firstly we modeled the instrument precisely (no sampling at all), then we added a few modern features to make it more versatile and unique, such as an extended range, a filter, and modulation.

when Install is done, it will open a certain folder, you place the licence there.
so maybe you need to install it again

After spending an hour on this...
Open ~/Library/Application Support/
Create a folder "Martinic"
In that folder, create a folder "Kee Bass"
drop the license key there.
license key should be called "Martinic Kee Bass.txt"

I uninstalled everything and binned all the plugs/folders/etc. from here. Went to their website. Downloaded the mac installer and got my free serial .txt from Martinic.com. Reinstalled and all working like a charm. Really great bottom on this plug! Give that a shot...

grab a licence from their website and follow my instructions.
it's frustrating that such a good (free) product can fail on such a stupid thing like "where do I put the stupid license key"

I do not create /Library/Application ..,,,,...
Download the license file.
Download installer from their site and save it in the same folder as the license file. Then run the installer, and enable the "License Key" option in the installer.

I confirm what is said earlier: you have to go to the site and claim a free license, the *.txt file here don't work, because i think a license can't be used twice.

A possible solution could be to prevent the install to "calling home", perhaps with a firewall? Because i think that this thingie communicate with the server to de-activate a license that have already be used before. Am i right?

Now, i'm just trying it, coool sound!

If you click on "Settings" you have access to a filter and a lot of fine settings, you can really make vintage moog-like sounds with it!
