And there are two "sound updaters" I know of.
I had not realized i did not have either, so i just downloaded them (Original Uploaded links worked on these, but i did not try other links).

I do not know if the 2015.03.27 is cumulative, making the R1 from 2014.08.28 unnecessary. They look like they contain different instruments.
I just updated both.
I mounted the ISO in the R1 update and then copied the 2 items (Content folder & Updater) to my drive to zip for later use. I ran the updater from my drive.
BUT make sure if you delete the ISO and just keep the items, DO NOT RENAME the content folder or the updater might not find it!
(I am not sure with THIS one, but i NEVER do when doing that. I add a text file named "Do NOT rename content folder!.txt" :) )

I am not sure what you mean "What happened to..."
Do you mean: Why no updates for Syntronik?
I see 1.2 on their website and it says:
"What’s New in version 1.2
5 new Syntronik Instruments available: Syntronik Deluxe with 22 Instruments
VCF3 , Memory-V , M-Poly , SH-V , Modulum "
I have not installed Syntronik and just been using sounds in Sampletank, because "Instrument editing features are available from within any version of Syntronik and SampleTank 3."
But of course the GUI is a big part of "the instrument"

Welp...I installed Syntronik for the interface and was rewarded.
First time in a while I have loaded a patch and got lost in a dream.
( just a couple of crossing chords with the J-60 "Delicate Bowed Strings") Well, loaded two instances of it and pulled the filter down on one, and playing on two controllers ... but had not figured how to assign each a midi channel yet....
I dare not load my DAW or it will disappear - LOL
[OK- I see it is not multitimbral, so I WILL load into my DAW two instances. Gotta do something with it anyway ]

If I can't get this to properly work with Band-In-A-Box as "Hi-Q instruments", then I don't need it as I've never been impressed with "SampleStank" when compared to Kontakt as a sampler solution. In fact, IK Multimedia has become rather "unnecessary" to me for the last decade or so. Back in the day, T-RackS, Miroslav Philharmonik, Sonik Synth 2, and AmpliTube were some of my most-used plugins(along with AAS Lounge Lizard and EastWest Bosendorfer 290). But they haven't seemed very inspired lately other than to worry about making music solutions for amateurs on mobile phones and iPads. I'm probably gonna get rid of Syntronik and reclaim some precious space(40 GIGS!) because it doesn't ever make the cut. I'll try it out fairly often just hoping for the chance to JUSTIFY downloading it, but something else ALWAYS works better no matter what the genre or the application is.
Learn how to make tight, radio-ready mixes with the STOCK plugins in your DAW. After that, THEN you can horde out!
