Bought this once but when I 'discovered' that Novation didn't care for Logic/AU users I sold it immediately The issues that users (me included) had were related to 3rd party soundbanks, preset names, browsing etc. .. impossible to work with unfortunately because I agree, brings back memories from an earlier era!

(I presume that those things aren't solved in the meantime?)

How can someone make a soft synth and not have one video or even a sound sample on their home page... That is just wow. And this is not exactly a brand new product, it's been around for years!

Does anyone know if the vst presets are compatible with the hardware version ?

I remember buying a hardware ks-rack from thomann... go home, turn it on : all leds, knobs, everything, was lit. Returned it to thomann the next day.

This cheap hardware synth had some great filter features, which were part of the 'liquid' sound it could produce, and the famous 'hypersync'

We all remember the sound from Usher 'yeah'... that must have been created on that synth. That sound was the 'bomb' :)

The hardware unit was quite pretty, with all the classic novation blue leds around the knobs, and super easy to use : novation ks-rack, for the curious

Nope, that was from the Albino vst... It was the default preset it loaded up with.

Really ? I thought it came from the kr station... it sounded exactly the same, PLUS the hardware had that extra little thing. ..

I need to hook it up, once i have the courage to open hundreds of boxes, in the basement, to try to find it, next to some curtains, Tupperware. . Or some pair of shoes !
