DDMF BridgeWize v1.1.3 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
DATE : 2019.04.14 | NUMBER : R2R-7882 | SiZE : 3.27 MB
PLATFORM : WiN32 - EXE, WiN64 - VST

With more and more hosts going 64 bit only, a universal, cross-platform bit bridging tool is an essential part of the toolbox of every audio engineer who doesn’t want to lose all those precious (and often legendary) 32 bit plugins still waiting to be used. Enter Bridgewize: the only bit bridging application that covers both VST and AU plugins on Mac and VST plugins on Windows. It uses the same proprietary wrapping technique that has already been successfully introduced with Metaplugin3, but now in a dedicated standalone package that allows you to selectively create seamlessly bridged versions of your favourite 32 bit babies.

NICE!! Another alternative to jbridge, which was (to my knowledge) the only 32 to 64 bit bridging option. Now we got another choice if the other doesn't work well. Very nice!!

I am happily surprised to this here!

Thank you R2R, funtime and everyone involved!!

I know it will never exist, but, if someone could make some kind of bridge/vm/emulation, that would allow , eg, a mac user to open a windows vst plugin... or vice versa. .. it would be insane.

Despite the two OS being totally different, at the end, the code used on a plug-in must look the same. ..
It would take some kind of wrapper, converter.. to make a AU or vst code look the same. ..

But Maybe it is just impossible. ..

Would be cool to have this for Linux too, making Music is the only reason to remain on Windows

Try a look at https://audioz.download/software/mac/107621-download_ilok-osx-bundle-of-mayhem-c0sm1csqu1d.html if you haven't done it before.
Only for mac user to open a windows vst plugin.
I tested it and it works perfect.
but I can tell you , if I'm in the situation where I'm working through mac and I need a vst win, in the end I prefer to use it through a win emulation on mac, like vbox or parallel desktop.
The c0sm1csqu1d's project it's really very interesting and well done, I really appreciated it, but it's not very practical and fast, you have to get some templates otherwise you lose a lot of time. Then it takes up quite a bit of space on the HD, so much so that in the end for me it's more convenient to install a winOS with any good daw.
But for someone it may be more convenient to install c0sm1csqu1d to use maybe only the nexus2 or for any other reason.. right?

In my opinion Steinberg (the inventor of the VST platform and owner of VST trademark) should fix this.
If you take a look at Propellerhead Reason they have their own "Rack Esxtension" format.
The (huge) downside is that this is Reason-only (and thus VERY expensive and silly if you need to buy both vst AND Rack Extension of a single product if you use other DAW's beside Reason) but the positive thing is a programmer creates 1 "plugin" that runs regardless Windows or Mac.
Reason handles that all internally.

Steinberg should make something similar.

Tried the mac demo. It's really unstable and the bridge host crashed. Couldn't import the license into Sylenth. The window didn't allow me to select any file. Feels buggy as hell. As of now, 32 Lives is still the better solution, imo!

Mac demo works well for me....Nexus 1 and Sylenth do work without any issues in Ableton 10.

Does It Really Work?

Does in Win, need to disconnect net cable and disable firewall if it can't find network card, (it won't tell you this) for DDMF stuff to scan. (like Adobe vst scanners) When you got everything tested running in the daw, then all should work when going back to blocking. Except with this bridge thing it want's to find network card all the time so to avoid any calling home I have to disable net so I can let it through to run properly.

Or Reaper. It has excellent bridging for x86 plugins. Rather efficient.

this is great - haven't had a chance to fully test it in all situations.. so far jbridge has worked "okay" - some plugins start glitching out in ableton after playing via scrub(maybe he fixed in the latest jbridge update which i don't yet have) so i'll be interested to see if this ddmf one is perhaps more stable in ableton. i just wish ableton10 would introduce their own 32<64bit built in plugin bridge.. it's 2019 after all.

quote by juxtaphonit's 2019 after all.

So normally there is no need for any 32 Bit Plugin in 2019 as we Use a 64Bit System and DAW, but there are some old Treasures that isn't as 64Bit avail, RefX Vanguard for Example is a Gem, but only 32 Bit
