If you used the "no install" thing, try the patched retail installer I uploaded.

Is 'No Install' the same as the Symlink version?

Will the update version work over the last Symlink release, or do I need to replace it entirely with this one?

I have no other version of Kontakt currently installed on my pc, this will be my first install. How do i add libraries to this? Do i need an older version of kontakt also installed in order to add libraries? And if so which version. Thanks

If a release on this site wasn't clean, it would be instantly removed.

Chances are your virus software didn't like a keygen... That's all.

You didn't get a virus, no viruses here mate, disable McAfee when downloading and installing, then it won't falsely tell you there is a virus in the app.

We guess this requires the old trick, installing an older version that allows adding new libraries, and Installing in parallel the newer version, which comes with the new features. .and both must remain on the hard drive. .

So did i. I still remember.

It was a very cold december night. I installed several apps, played with them, then, i installed a No-install Kontakt package.
During the installation, by 2am, i went outside, and smoked 2 cigarettes and sipped a beer with my neighbor. But that mofo forgot to tell me that earlier in the morning, he had to go to the doctor with his 3 kids, as everybody as coughing, tired and feverish.

Barely 30 minutes later, i was coughing, and feeling bad.
i got a virus.

Almost anyone that I know of. I've converted the ones I use the most besides the already converted I've found.

In fact I was going to upload this very same Kontakt symlink, along with the 5.8.1.
I'll upload just the 5.8.1 if someone doesn't beat me too.

Damn, I didn't know it was possible ! Do you have any link/app to do that ? I'd love to use some plugins and DAW from an external drive, I'd love to learn how you do that if you have some time :)

Well, with that being said, I just want to know what's the difference between the portable and symlink versions and how to install them correctly because apparently, the 6.0.3 portable version that i tried to install on this website has a installation manuel in Corsican, even google translator didn't understand.

Grab the one from r4e above, mount it with daemon tools lite, install it, and if you need extra help we can go from there.

The portable version is easy to install too but try this one first, you can install both if you want.
