Network card has to be installed but not necessarily connected.
And the MAC address needs to be the one that is active (or that was last time active).
Wifi and Ethernet connection have different address.

yes, but that means enabling network connection and unplugging the actual cable if you want to be offline. which I hate. I would really like to find a way not to enable the network card. I think this is the only way R2R could get around the protection cause the legit plugs I have from them only need the net connection until you register, and no further.

I can't disagree with you. In windows environment installing unnecessary interfaces (with their buggy drivers) mean less stable system, lower performance.
Someone should create a portable version for these plugins.

Perhaps because in the keygen there is only v1.0 to choose.

I think could be a speed & easy way to learn how to...

Around I've found just generic infos and (you know well) we need to block just some specific app and plugs so, please, post an accurate screenshot for this purpose.

How to block a domain in the hosts file on a mac:

In this case to block Overloud domain, the line you have to put at the end of the text in hosts file is:
127.0.0.1 www.overloud.com

But as I stated above, this plugin doens't bode well with the provided keygen, perhaps because that's for the previous version 1.0 and this is 1.1.0

An important tip!

1. After installing and copying the files generated by the keygen disconnect the internet and open one by one in your DAW
2. Lock the site
3. Connect on internet
4. enjoy

sorry guys, perhaps I'm being a bit thick but when I'm trying to open the Install+Gem+Comp670+1.1.0+Mac.pkg file in my macbook (OS Mojave 10.14.3), I get a message saying "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)", Couldn’t open “Install+Gem+Comp670+1.1.0+Mac.pkg”
