I just wanted to say that everyone needs to at least check out MB-7. The flexibility (and stability) of the plug is outstanding. You can lay any combination of effect chains on up to 7 separate frequency bands. It’s a sound designer’s dream come true, and it’s very useful for mixing and mastering as well. Roundabout methods take 10x as long and eat more CPU. Messy too. It’s one of those plugins that makes you wonder why nobody made one earlier.

Sorry if this is old news to everyone. If anyone sees this and tries it out, it was worth the redundancy. Thanks VR!

Don't be apologising, I used Waves C4 on some hard to master stuff [but wanted to do it as quick as possible] 15 years or so ago. Multiband compressors are very convenient for when you need to do the job quickly, because people are not able to hear the dynamic frequencies that easily. If you asked me personally, I hate it. But sometimes it's just what you need.

Yep! It’s so handy for that. And it’s pretty exciting (but usually overkill) to put different compressors on different freq bands. One compressor that does low end especially well, one that tames the highs... The EQing possibilities are even better. Put a different character EQ on 3+ bands and have the best of all worlds. I like putting reverb on the highs, compression, stereo narrowing and EQ on the lows, and harmonic exciters on the mids. Then save the FX chain as a preset. It’s so good

MB-7 is a multiband mixer with 3rd party plugin support, for example you can apply TDR Kotelnikov on mid range band and Waves Kramer Tape on highs, and valhalla dsp plate on midhighs range band. Several instances per band. But there is one problem they didn't fix PDC for plugins inside MB-7. For example, if you insert Kramer Tape (internally oversampled?) you will get phase/combo/or alike effect...

As i understand, this bundle updated due to recent updates:
New in Axiom 1.1:

Load impulse responses (IR) in pre or post filters of the amp simulator. The frequency response of IRs can be shifted and mixed together with the usual filter settings.
The built-in EQ plug-in can also load and manipulate impulse responses.
Drag and drop support (full details here).
Fixed "Joe's Bowl" factory preset that included an instance of PatchWork.

New in Blue Cat's Destructor v1.4:
Load custom impulse responses (cabinets, reverbs) into the pre or post filters.
Shape impulse responses in the edit view to match the perfect tone.

New in Free Amp 1.1:
Load your own cabinet and reverb impulse responses.
