The Mangle grew from years of experiments with granular synthesis. The goal was to 'play' with the stream of grains in a musical and expressive way. This led to some unique features: a large XY area with real-time grain display. Pitch and tempo locking. True stereo grains and multi-timbral layering.

Stretch out rich harmonics from acoustic sounds. Turn field recordings into ambient soundscapes. Or bring in synth sounds to be shredded, exploded and recombined with intricate patterns and cloud effects.

I bought this one when it was practically in alpha, I was really an early supporter because this is the best granular synth out there.

And please folks, really BUY IT IF YOU LIKE IT, it is not expensive and this is a one man operation company and he deserves it, he does it all alone.

Maybe you mispost this instead on Tangle modular Synth from the same company?
They look like a lot but again, no. Thats a modular synth while AM is modular DAW.

Yeah; bought it way back (alpha stage, i think). Anyway, an awesome plugin. Apparently, the creator is AWOL... but it`s still one of the best granulars out there.

It is sad that I bought this back when it was in beta, I know it was only something like £25 but back then that was half of my weeks income. And then the guy vanishes. Even if I wanted to get the legit I can't cos the guy never replies. Which just seems stupid he could have built upon this and become a good developer of unique niche plugins.
