Yes... just close the installer and go to the downloaded folder called "Updated Data" click through all the folders until you find the "Moog Tribute Library.db" file. You're going to want to replace that same file inside of the Steam folder on your computer in:

Macintosh>Library>Application Support>Spectrasonics>STEAM>Omnisphere>Settings Library>Patches>Factory

There you will see the old " Moog Tribute Library.db", which you will replace with the new one...

Is there an app to rename that file with a "." in front? I get a pop-up that says "." is reserved for system level files and won't let me rename it.

Never mind... I just dropped the .dll file in STEAM like mentioned above. Thx!

If you read the notes you'd know why... they just changed the name of 2 categories:

"The categories “Synth Sweep” and “Synth Pluck” are now called “Synth Long” and “Synth Short”"

That was the entire update...

You need to know that enterprises that specialize in link hunting have
privilege access to file hosting services and look inside rar files, if
they see copyrighted files they can delete it.
When you add a password to a rar file, you have the option to encrypt file names.
Passworded encrypted rar files do not allow link hunters to see inside the rar files, so they last longer.

With all of the problems that I see people having above, one would be a FOOL to update this just to change the names of two categories. Spectrasonics products CAN be difficult to get running again after updates in my personal experience, and if I can't use Omnisphere and Keyscape thru Omnisphere, I'm in serious trouble trying to craft songs in the way that I need to QUICKLY craft them.

Changelogs are important for a reason as we all may have different needs. Not everyone sees a knocked-over candle in the barn as a reason to immediately call the fire department. Some of us would simply kick some dirt on the small fire and get back to work. ;-)

But I STILL want to thank Olymoon and all of those responsible for providing this for us. Your efforts are INVALUABLE to us!

It's not even an "error" per se, just a different way of describing the type of sounds in two categories. There's simply no need for anything to be "fixed".

Please explain why, Brother Cashmeeere. Does this Bob Moog Tribute Library Update offer more than changing the categorization of two folders? Do tell, Brah! Don't leave us in the dark.

Hi Daisy - Did you originally have this add-on working before the update? If so, I doubt this will help, but here's what I had to do to get the initial installation working. I not only copied the Moog Tribute Library.db as you noted, but also the entire Moog Tribute Library folder because it was completely missing from the STEAM folder. The original installation pack shows you exactly where to copy to. Once I did that, I then updated, copied the update Moog Tribute Library.db to the right spot and everything works fine.
