Novation launched the original Bass Station in 1993 and it became an instant favourite. Its digital oscillators and analogue filter defined countless dance and electronic hits of the 1990s.

Now a classic, its available as a software plug-in that has been carefully modelled to recreate the distinctive analogue-digital character of the original.

Two Oscillators that have been carefully modelled to preserve the precise tonal character of the classic sawtooth and square waveforms of the original instruments.
12/24 dB Low-pass filter with all the warmth and resonance often lacking in today's modern digital synthesis methods.
Intuitive ADSR envelopes.
Low Frequency Oscillation which can directly control the harmonic content of the sound by pulse width modulation or filter cut-off.

Enhanced Classic panel for greater tweakability:
The original front panel has been 3D modelled and additional controls have been added for ease of use. The Filter envelope has its own set of ADSR controls and OSC1 and OSC2 have their own section for pitch modulation and PWM control.
All controls receive MIDI controller numbers for the recording and replay of tweaks during a performance.

100 "Stunning" Sounds carefully crafted from the Novation factory.

"There was an error loading a resource, please re-install this software"... I've never been able to get this plugin to consistently work in OSX (which includes previously cracked versions). I use VST in Ableton & Gig Performer. I get this message upon scanning the VST. Is there a way to finally get this working? My process for installing is to download the legit version from Novation, then replace with cracks.

i had the same and i made a process to work, at least in my case

1- download the original
2- go offline
3- install it normally
4- open your daw and load the original, i just clicked authorize and save an auth file to check was not freeze
5- then i replaced everything, and registering like always..

Also? I am running Studio One v.3.5.6.4 and I followed the instructions to a "T;" I installed with the Wi-Fi disconnected, opened S1, ran the keygen and activated everything, closed out S1, reconnected to the Wi-Fi, opened S1 and both the 64 and the 64 stereo load up fine; no Demo mode, error notices or any weirdness.
Not saying you guys fucked it up, I'm just sayin' it works over here.

if you write "I followed the instructions" and in the same time you're making an extra step "Download installer from manufacturer" which is not in the instruction, than is no need to make comments like "Not saying you guys fucked it up, I'm just sayin' it works over here".
Because usually if the install file is not provided, you have just to copy plugins in the right folder to install them.

I figured the installer was assumed since dragging and dropping isn't in the instructions and has no need for license files. Besides that, it's *far from unheard of to have to go to the manufacturers' site to get the installer.
It seems I need to stop giving people the benefit of the doubt.

Exactly. There's no way he could have followed the directions to a T because there's no installer provided. You have to download the installer form Novation's website. I've tried everything I can think of namely deleting preferences, deleting application support folders but nothing works. I've had nothing but issues with the previous release of this & its just more of the same with this release..

Right. I was *slightly unclear. Long story short, I got both the WiN and Mac versions to work. Since you clearly are having issues, hence, your need to call me a liar, I was nice enough to go to the Novation site in hopes of giving you some sort of vindication, ya'know, just for shits & giggles. But guess what? I downloaded it and it worked again.
Whoops.

I laid out the actual instructions of *how I installed it* and you called bullshit because I didn't mention that you had to kype the installer from the site, an assumption that shouldn't be a stretch of the imagination since there is no installer and it isn't a drag and drop "install." I'd congratulate you on figuring out that you have to go to their site for the installer but, clearly, the installer wasn't the issue since you're flailing away at preferences and support folders.

No work here both, BS and V-station have the same message: "There was an error loading a resource, please re-install this software"
