Audio Modelling SWAM Engine SWAM Soprano Sax v2.7.0 CE-V.R screenshot
TEAM V.R | 09 Aug 2018 | 54.16 MB
This collection is comprised of four instruments of the standard saxophone quartet. These are the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones.

This collection is comprised of four instruments of the standard saxophone quartet: the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones. You won’t need any Giga-sized pre-recorded libraries, because SWAM Saxophones is not a recording of notes via sample libraries, but a set of real virtual instruments based on traditional saxophones.

Developed by Audio Modeling using the SWAM Technology, SWAM Saxophones is the result of a combination of innovative performance techniques and concepts of physical and behavioral modeling with the multi-vector/phase-synchronous sampling technique. This collection is the most realistic, real-time controllable, expressive set of virtual saxophones on the market, and only needs the smallest footprint to create the perfect organic consistency resulting from the endless expressive parameters that are unique of every live performance.

As a producer, composer or live performer, you can use SWAM Saxophones to play any musical style: from Classical to Jazz, from Pop to Funky, and any other musical style. Just layer them in a section with no artifacts and select a different instrument timbre for each instance.

Thanks, but this seems to be only "Soprano Sax" so the title:
This collection is comprised of four instruments of the standard saxophone quartet. These are the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones.

Is quite misleading
Thank you for helping us help you help us all.

I was wondering about that. Thanks for clarifying. If we are blessed enough to get the rest of these, I can trash the outdated version called "The Saxophones" which ACTUALLY contains all four saxes as THIS newer version CLAIMS to. But even the old version is the best VI of a sax that I've heard. These guys write some pretty incredible code so those that can afford to support them, please do! I mean how often do you get the best imitation of a real instrument for only 50 MB of drive space? Unheard of, for the most part!

Thanks EmAD and PiRAT !!

I wouldn't mind using the old version at all if it wasn't for one missing function, which makes it rather hard to use now.
Since 1.2.0, the instruments trigger in breath controller mode when CC is higher than 1, so it's very easy and intuitive to perform attacks depending on context, however the older version that was released here back in 2013 does not have that function yet, so the notes have to be triggered on keyboard action rather than using BC, which is unfortunate, as the latter is clearly a winner in expressiveness.

I agree, is it possible to get the rest of them? Every other SWAM instrument have been released except for the 3 sax missing (Alto, Tenor, Baritone)

Thanks EmAD, PiRAT and Team V.R!

*sigh* Amazing! Xmas is really early this year! Great to check these out - gonna be noodling forevs =) Today my words are somewhere between Deadpool & The Handmaid's Tale!*

Just messing around is awesome. It "translates" playing amazingly out of the box. Lil slurs, falls, smears etcs kinda as you'd expect. *sigh* Already wanna use this instead of BBB. At least you don't need 10 extra fingers for sop sax anymoar :D Only shame is there's not a KS option, which is esp annoying for the on/off controls =( oh well, you can "workaround" it, but it's a pita...

Anyway, thx a lot EmAD & Team V.R!

(*Blessed day! Shitballs etcs!)
Thx to anybody posting Spitfire / OTB libs!
