HAPPY GOLDEN WEEK!

Because MAGIX software are not cracked well for years, we made API level
emulator of their protection library called Protein for your fun. 40 and more
APIs are successfully emulated and this makes the releases more reliable
than bypassing single checks in *.exe or *.dll. Actually, available "cracks"
for MAGIX is always missing one or more checks.

Don't worry, just replace DLLs to our one :) Remember to block the app by
firewall if you care those homecalling things.

Someone using this DAW?
How does it compare with Bitwig/Ableton? (:

I wanted to use the Sony version, however it didn't load Kontakt and some other synths

The worflow was superfast back in the day for loop-based music : hihop & house producers used acid a lot (pun intended ) 15 years ago.
As for today in comparison with other DAWs, I'm not sure. There's not a lot of info or tutorials available for this new version, and I can't help thinking that it's because there's not a lot of new ideas or improvments... But I can be wrong. And my "acid nostalgia" would like me to be wrong. So let's try and see.

And as usual, a gigantic THANKS for R2R & funtime for their work and efforts!!!

A venerable DAW from Sony with UI changes, 64 bit support and new audio engine from Magix.
I find it fun to use for loops mismatch.
Clearly not playing (yet ???) in the same category of Bitwig or Live even with Waveform from Tracktion.

Program seem stable (win 10 x64) / Plugin detection is .... buggy !
Almost every Native Instrument simply freeze the program.
(in case you're stuck: kill the processes)
Adding plugins little by little help somehow. (2 at a time in my case)

I hope this version will fix some problems THX funtime and R2R.
Not found changelog anywhere, anybody knows ?

I find it funny that the the only improvements to this has been 64 bit, a "updated UI" and some instruments just to name a few. But honestly in the world of today with almost couple dozen DAWs out there to choose from, Magix decided to release this with almost the same issues it had when it was still prevalent back in the day. VST effects and instruments have always been buggy. It is a real shame they didnt do a complete overhaul and improve on what made this so great before. Maybe some major updates will come out but until then this will just stay in the shadows of the other giants that are out there for now.

When it was Sony Acid I never thought of it as a DAW. Wasn't it always the go-to to alter your loops' BPMs and that's it?
When I get this one, I'll be able to create something

DJ Pain 1 is a devout user of ACID for his production and sample creations. I used to be fluent in ACID before I got used to using FL STudio
