As for this comp, in fact it deserves its name: it's actually quite a gem. Punch and glue, my drums like it a lot! (far better than the Waves one, and even better than the Duende which is one of my favorites). And meter calibration is very handy.

did you already checked on Drum Buss? How does it react? . Duendo is never good vca compressor .

Odd that, in the video, the Gain Reduction meter starts at the left and reacts to the right; rather than starting at 0Vu and showing actual GR by reading towards the left.

I find that troubling.

That's how an SSL bus compressor (hardware) works. 0 on left, goes towards right as it compresses. I find your comment troubling.

You are correct. I actually own a Stam hardware SSL buss comp, so I should know that.

I'm used to a lot of plugins with dual-purpose meters where input/output increases left-to-right and GR starts at 0 and increases back to the left. I've been tracking two weeks straight, staring all day at hardware 1176s and LA-2As with GR reading back to the left... and just got thrown off.

A little too much wine mixed with too little sleep. My apologies.

mine vst3 also goes into demo mode.

I tried it on a drum bus.. kinda love it.. it reminds me so much of The Glue.. but more to my liking..

I did a simple comparison with my Acqua Sand Comp (which is my fav) Comp G sound really clean and soft edgy, while the Sand gives more of a mojo and sound more rounded.

I love both of em now. There are useful time and place for each of em.

Anyone know how to fix the demo mode?

Fl studio cannot load a preset after reloading project. Plugin loads with default settings. Same thing happens with all Overloud products. What's the problem?

Windows 10 - Studio One. When I opened the comp (VST3) for the 2nd time, it was demo again. Crack does not work.
Apparently only the VST2 x64 works.

"only the VST2 x64 works" and only 90% of the people use that, or at least should use that. I would advise against using VST3 versions of any VST plugins as it is just useless and more crash prone, unless you're using Cubase and sidechaining. That's pretty much all the advantage you get from using a VST3 version of any plugin.
