Developed in cooperation with vintage synth specialist Bigtone Studios, The Legend is designed to faithfully emulate one of the most famous vintage analog synths. Moreover, numerous innovative enhancements greatly increase its versatility.

Unprecedented precision

Every component, ranging from the voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), voltage-controlled filter (VCF) and voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA), have been modeled to an accuracy never seen before in software. The snappy filter and amplifier envelopes have been meticulously modeled, as well as the massive bottom end - even the most marginal effects like temperature drift or effects originating from the power supply have been taken into account.

The most significant additions are the Unison and Polyphonic modes, allowing for thick stereo sounds, as well as enabling polyphonic play. Built around a vectorized core, The Legend is capable of synthesizing four voices for the cost of little more than a single voice, making it a highly efficient analog-modeling synthesizer plug-in.

The back panel of The Legend allows to switch between two revisions modeled, Early and Late. Moreover, extra options allow to fine-tune the analog simulation and account for part tolerances typically found in hardware. The key parameter ranges can be adjusted as well as tuning, drift or saturation.

Another bonus feature of The Legend is its on-board effects, comprising a high-quality delay and reverb unit. Both effects are tailored to the synthesizer, and offer just the right sound with only a few parameters each.

The Legend comes with 480 patches crafted by leading sound designers and sorted into categories like Bass, Lead, SFX, etc.

"something went wrong" error in FL on win7 32.
anyone else getting this?
i had a previous version which worked like a charm. so i am baffled...

i've tried this a few times with no joy.
last two occassions in reaper the plugin will not even appear in the plugin list. and makes the program issue an error message on closing.
on win7 32... maybe thats not enough now. it just does not work.

This has easily become one of my favourite synths because it sounds so close to hardware and I don't use many soft synths.

This thing is an instrument. Easy to program and it sounds sooo good. Now with more controls for expression even more so. I love it to the bone!

True, it lacks some more modulation options. I hate it when there's not at least 2 assignable LFOs or MOD ENVs... but it sounds really good. Like the real thing, almost.

Doesn't load in Reaper here. :(

On my computer (Win7 x64) this release does not load in Reaper (x86) nor in Studio One (x86). The plugin is visible in the list but it cannot be loaded (Reaper shows it in red - as "missing"). Also, Reaper hangs when closing a session in which I attempted to load this plugin.
Previous release (v1.1) worked OK.
Any hints?

hi guys. seems like having the same issue here: Win 10, Cubase Elements 9.5 (VR). when I open a project with this plugin, very often (like 95 times over 100) the plugin won't load. I have to make things like loading another plugins (anyone) and the load Legend, and sometimes it works sometimes not; or opening the plugin manager and disabling and re-enabling the Legend. but, this is unuseable because of the time spent to make this work (and not to make music). every time I open a project to work on it, I have to spend a lot of time just to load Legend. anyone had it works fine? thanks

Like I say,if you want a functioning version, get the 1.1.0 version.
I can't claim to understand why this version gets corrupted. I do know it doesn't matter whether you're online or not. There is something in the code that renders it useless. This all I mean by 'Timebomb'. Actually that's not accurate - It's nothing to do with dates etc.
This also happens with Rob Papen and Tone2 stuff so I avoid those.

ufiltered audio fault isnt working too on x64win7...
but of course no need for kegen and regis lol..

so many new plugs have this dynamic code protection now also called malware/spyware i have strong feeling from last weeks..
