i cant get this to work on OSX despite following all instructions - get mac address, generate keygen, using wine on osx and also on windows, have the .ol2 file @ Library/Application Support/Overloud/Gem TAPEDESK . Started plugin and deny access using little snitch. Standalone plugin says i'm on demo mode and requires internet to activate.

am i doing something wrong or the keygen is bust?

I got mine to work, its in the hidden library folder within the HD. This is what i did -

1. Go to terminal and type 'defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES'
(without the quotation marks)

2. Relaunch finder

3. Copy .ol2 lic to Macintosh HD > USERNAME (on the acc that you installed in) > LIBRARY > APPLICATION SUPPORT > OVERLOUD > GEMS

4. Enjoy :)

PS: I blocked the outgoing connection for the app using Little Snitch.

Are you using WINE? If so the file is placed in the following path:

HD>user>Wine Files>drive_c>users>*YOU*>Desktop

Drag from drive_c to Mac desktop
It (.ol2) is not placed directly on your Mac User Desktop

Macintosh HD > USERNAME (on the acc that you installed in) > LIBRARY > APPLICATION SUPPORT > OVERLOUD > GEMS

Standalone is working fine in os x 10.12.6 - but when activating the au with logic the .ol2 file is deleted (GEM Folder empty!) so activation would not work. Any suggestions?

Found the workaround.... Start the plugin first completely offline. After the first initial run, it stays authorized even when online.

you need block out/in net conections in plugins with any firewall as little snich and it works

I use Hands Off to block specific programs connecting out but I don't know how to block a specific website... From R2R's instructions "3.Block the access to "www.overloud.com".
Or you will get unregistered by home calling."

Can you enlighten me as to how to block just a specific website without actually choosing a program to be blocked? Thank you
