edit : this is the best 1176 up to date , 25 Sept 2017.

this, the neve 1081 eq , tapedesk and Rematrix and you are set to mix a record.

these stuff is up there with the UAD folks !! get them while they r hot! these plugs will turn audio production upside down. i mean, finally we can get back that fat, analog sound that was lost for quite some time now

edit2 : after testing it side by side with fat channel xt in s1 i gotta say that the presonus comps are one hellluva comp ! strangely the presonus is punchier, but the character is different. this one is better but not punchy enough but that can be fixed with the parallel knob ! killer comp!

I have two original 1176's in my studio and just a few hours ago while recording I thought to myself like many times before "man, what an awsome piece of hardware, I wish plugins could actually come close to the original" - then I saw this post so I jumped into trying it out and - hooooooolllyyyyyy sheeeeet! This one right here really is as good as it gets! Waves & UA are doing a great job for sure but that one here blows everything out of the water!
