if anyone is interested to hear how this does stand out against the Studer A800 and/or the Ampex ATR102 by UAD2 , hit me up. I will test drive it and provide comparative audio files. -Make sure to send me a "neutral" sounding as possible mix for this purpose, also make sure your mix has an average loudness between -17 and -20 db RMS; ( if it is too fat, inflated & pushed to death limits (loudness level), it will simply not work.)

I want to clarify, though: as you said that the Black Rooster wasn't as good as Slate, is your upload Slate, or Black rooster? I ask because its title is simply "tape.mp3."
