Probably you are quite young and unexpirienced. Behringer is not that bad, and you see a piece of Behringer equipment in every famous super studio... Be it Edison or the HPamplifier. Intelligate was once the second fastes gate in the industrie (behind Drawmer) and I still use Ultrafex for sweet sounding, airy vocals. SPL Vitalizer and Aphex did not do the silky job....

Aaand, last but not least, if you could not steal plugins from here, but had to buy audio processors, you would fricking love Behringer as every engenieer over 30 years old here surely does, because they did a greaaat job for the money they charge and liberated guys like me, when there were no computers and plugins...
Try their vamp, sounds more usable than amplitube......

Definitely you don't know what you're talking about. Behringer have very geat stuff. I have the X Air XR18 consolle and it is just amazing. Also have Virtualizer Pro effects unit, and is also great using it with MIDI in live performance. Some pedals are nice too like the Vintage Time Machine. Probably I will try the Vamp for some performance.
I see a lot of people saying Behringer sucks, but for the money they don't.
And for the half price of other companies you can have better options. If you don't belive me just go some day at "Whisky a GO GO" to watch some nice performace with the Behringer X32 Digital Mixer. Whisky a GO GO digital mixer

It's really not very smart to plug ANY MIDI keyboard or musical device into a USB hub - it cannot communicate directly with your hardware, and introduces an amount of latency that is completely unacceptable - impossible, really.
Why would anyone want to do this at all, would be my main question - regardless of who the manufacturer is.
What did you think would happen?
You are putting the complete load of input and output into a hub, through the hub's interface, into the computer hardware, and back out the same route. If you don't have enough USB slots on your computer to handle a MIDI keyboard, it's really just time to get a better computer with enough slots to do the job, or disconnect other devices from your USB slots that aren't necessary for music production.
Just an opinion, but based on a lot of experience and decent technical knowledge.
You can research why it's a terrible idea by just doing a search for the issue.
What you do is up to you.
This isn't a Behringer issue - it's user error at the cognitive level.
Just one in 7 billion. Here and gone.

if you use a USB Hub, be careful about the power supply you use with it.
Each peripheral can use up to 500 mA.
does you hub have power supply at all ?
this is the path to investigate.

Cos tons of repetitive, but differently coloured GUI graphic files cost space. These plugins are 99% [poorly made] graphics and 1% real DSP code. Sign of times, I guess!

i guess the Mac version is "standard" plugins installers and the Win version is" wrapped" from the VST, so that's the very different size.

i remember some previous releases for Mac were much smaller too like this Win package for this reason :)
