Klanghelm MJUC variable-tube compressor v1.1 [WiN-OSX] RETAiL-SYNTHiC4TE screenshot
SYNTHiC4TE | Feb 11 2017 | 38 MB
MJUC is the most effortful Klanghelm plugin to date. It took almost two years of extensive, dare I say "excessive", research and development. To create MJUC I've researched and analyzed each and every variable-mu* implementation I could get my hands on to get the best of tube compression into a single processor. In order to do the diversity of this compression topology justice, three different models have been built.

These are kind of a time travel though the history of tube compression to capture the essence of each generation. Each model has its own dedicated signal path and dedicated control set. If desired you can tweak the overall tone and saturation of each model with the unique TIMBRE and the DRIVE control. DRIVE controls the load of the input and output transformers as the saturation of the tube gain stages, if applicable. The TIMBRE extends MJUC's use as a tone shaping device.

MJUC is the first Klanghelm plugin, that's built with the help of a new framework. That's brings a lot of new usability features such as GUI-resizing, AB-ing and a feature-rich platform independent preset browser with save/copy/paste/save-as-default functionality. Furthermore it's possible to tweak the knob behavior, enable tooltips, show/hide value labels and more. All these features will find their way to the existing Klanghelm plugin as soon as possible.

all formats included in a single license: AU (32&64Bit) - Mac only, VST (32&64Bit), AAX (32&64Bit)

MJUC updated to version 1.1.

This update includes a more robust preset browser, fixes an occasional latency issue in Pro Tools, adds support for ProTools' gain reduction meters, vastly improved GUI performance, reworked VU (similar to VUMT now), better compatibility for older Windows versions (removes the need of an extra compiled version for Windows XP
).

I agree totally, he's cool developer, he doesn't care about protection, plugins are simply fantastic, stable, CPU-friendly, having a nice look, support is excellent, for affordable price (20-25 euros each). For now I've bought SDDR (saturation) and DC8C2 (clean compressor), MJUC is planned for next month... voila.
Following the white rabbit...

version 1.1.0 includes the following;

- FIX: sometimes the bottom panel didn't show up correctly when changing presets (mainly Samplitude)
- FIX: latency issues in ProTools, when using HQ
- NEW: support for ProTools' gain reduction meter
- reworked VU-metering, uses the engine of VUMT now
- vastly improved GUI-performance
- more robust preset browser (factory presets occasionally didn't load on some systems)
- better compatibility for older Windows versions down to Windows XP, so no need for an especially compiled for XP MJUC version anymore
- better denormal handling

- IMPORTANT NOTE for RTAS users:
RTAS has been dropped with version 1.1. From the Klanghelm user area you can still obtain the RTAS version of MJUC 1.0.3, which contains all of the fixes and features from 1.1 except for the PT gain reduction metering.

I also recommend buying these plugins. Cool independent dev that makes really good plugins and doesn't charge you tons of money or implement dreadful protections. These really are the kind of plugs everybody who use them should buy.
I personally love MJUC and SDRR!

Definitely recommended to buy this as I did. For all the same reasons everybody else says here. They are top notch plugins and a very decent price. Nothing to lose, all to gain.

I hardly ever write comments here, but I have to explain my opinion about this...

When an audio software company sells his plug-ins at an exorbitant price, I think it deserves his product to be cracked (Universal Audio, Softube, Steinberg, Avid...). You know, they all are huge companies.

But this plug-in costs only 24 €, it shouldn't be cracked. I love AudioZ, and when I payed 329 € for my upgrade to Cubase Pro 9 I was desiring to see Steinberg software cracked here. Just for make them lower the price. Just for it, because I had already buy it and I would't have downloaded it.

Personally I don't like this plug-in. But if you like it, buy it. Reserve your crack installers for the giants.

Won't go down the whole this "deserves to be cracked" more than whatever as it costs more. Don't get that philosophy and personally think it's complete garbage but understand what you mean even though i disagree personally.
Is maybe somewhat similar to justifying stealing from a large company on the grounds of "they can afford it" which again is pretty much garbage imo.
Anyway, isn't "cracked" as u say as no protection implemented so nothing to bypass or reverse etc
Far as i'm aware no user details either included that need to be removed either.
Just be plain retail installer as it says
Dev involved hates protection schemes and says they are a waste of time, money & resources.
He relies on trust which is pretty refreshing and something you don't see that much these days.
Pretty cool imo as are his plugins

Like all above had said if you are in any position to buy his stuff & use it, don't hesitate.
Fantastic plugins at a great price with a dev who offers some of the best customer support around.
Probably the "best" value for money plugins around imo

I agree with the sentiments expressed above. When there are developers like this, and you do use it and love it, absolutely buy it. This gentleman is NOT trying to shake us down with silly protections, and in my limited experience and humble opinion provides a fantastic product.

However I still subscribe to the try before buy ethos, and most/all of the plugs I have paid lots of money on I tested from fine releases here and elsewhere, and Horsemen/R2R/and the other generous and fantastic teams have given me the chance to make informed decisions.

There are some that are never going to buy anything, and there are a LOT of us that DO. One good friend of mine on here (won't mention his name out of respect for his privacy ) has gone completely legit over the year or so, first learning about the different products or experiencing them here... then went out and bought everything he felt he needed to create music, ... supporting the fair devs and their hard hard work.

It's just my opinion, (and everyone is entitled to their own), that having the opportunity here to find out first whether or not it a product is bs or not is a VERY valuable luxury we all enjoy here.
So I am very appreciate of the shares, share the sentiment that Klanghelm is a quality developer with the right philosophy on this matter, sounds great, and doesn't break the bank.

Be well everyone, and thanks to Horsemen and SYNTHiC4TE for continued excellence and generosity... (and of course to Klanghelm of COURSE for THEIR continued fine products and a VERY fair price... All the success to them in the world!)

..grateful for HEXWARS, R2R, SYNTHiC4TE, CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family.
