An easy way to slow down the music without changing the pitch!

Amazing Slow Downer is available for Windows and Mac computers as well as Android and iPhone/iPad devices. Click on one of the links below to read more, look at a screenshot, listen to some audio samples or download the trial version.

Change the speed of the music - from 20% (one fifth speed) to 200% (double speed) without changing the pitch.

Wrong key? Change the pitch in semi-tones - at full or changed speed.

Out of tune? Adjust the pitch in cents (100ths of a semi-tone) to suit your instrument.

Real-time processing - all described above is done in real-time - just insert the CD and press the play button!

Also slows down MP3, Wave, Windows Media Audio, Ogg, FLAC and AAC/M4A files on your computer in real-time.

NOTE : The patch release by other group cause timebomb.

Our release contains emulator of keyfile (dll), which is loaded and called
by the program. Without this keyfile, software timebombs after the longer
usage.

Note that emulator is already included in our installer. Never try to install
from the official installer or you will get timebombed.

Some users reported that our emulation dll cause some errors. We rebuilt the
emulator this time and tested under from WinXP x86 to Win10 x64. Our
emulator does not depends on runtime library or WinAPI. Check your security
softfware if you have problem with loading dll.

I don't see the use of this if one is familiar with any modern DAW. And 50 USD, wtf? And has to be cracked using an emulator? Is this dev a scammer?

Also is this one just milking with Paul's opensource algorithm or something?

I haven't tried this on osx, so not sure, I have had a lot of fun with Paulstretch over the years... does this one instantiate in a daw? hmm, will check dev page...

but outside of paul stretch, or recording the output of the scrub wheel or something, I don't know how you would do this in a daw (even ableton etc) without adding more artifacts etc then really desirable... but perhaps I am missing something sandybridge?

Of course this can be achieved easily in your DAW and talking about artifacts, I don't find Roni's toy doing any better. I'm on Reaper and I can always simply right click on any item - item properties - then change the playback rate to like 0.250000 (25%) or 5.000000 (500%). The stretching algo I use is just the default Elastique 3.1.4 Pro, developed by zplane. Not bad for most cases at all. In fact just visit https://licensing.zplane.de/company and you can see a range of companies that use zplane's algo - the first one in row is Ableton. Not a Ableton Live power user but I think they called their "stretching" as "warping" in Live. There's also an old thread on KVR about this topic https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=308846

Googled and Roni may be actually using a library called SuperVP by Ircam. Still pissed to see this one selling at 50 USD and use such bothersome protection.

update: looked at the dev site, does seem to be very paul stretch'y, perhaps its retaining or changing tuning or whatnot is helpful for people trying to figure out how to play certain licks or something could be handy, but as you said, THAT kind of thing could be done in a daw pretty easy.... hmmm...

Don't expect to use any file exported from this stuff...
It can be great for real time , like trying to play a guitar sequence slowly, or trying to understand what that foreigner singer is barking, or maybe you want to decode that ultra fast 32th 150bmp complex arpeggio...

This is another great example of greed.

For what the app can do, 19-29 bucks would be the right price. Like the arpeggiator Cream from Kirnu i purchased for about 30 bucks (lol r2r released it last Christmas ).
50 bucks for this, is just wayyyyy to much.

Also, this app (retail) is awfully bugged.

not sure how to activate this...is there a file missing...keygen asking for challenge code but cannot find it?

No file missing, it's just that it's called Password in Roni .. Open Roni and click help > Password, and type the number at the top of that window into challenge part of the keygen, then click generate and type that code in the password part of the window in Roni.

Having tried Roni some years ago this version does sound a lot better and there are four different types of slowing down.
When I get this one, I'll be able to create something

actaully, i'd already got that far (finding the password box in help) but there's no number to copy when i open the password box..does it need to be connected to the internet?
had you got this to work in this version with no problems..ie you had a challenge code appearing in the box when you clicked on the password option?
