Every time I see an update of this i wonder what it would be like to try?
Of course the language barrier is a biggie!

Have any non-Japanese speakers on here ever tried to work with it intuitively without knowing what the menus say?

also wonder why the developer has never wanted to release any other language versions ?

Same reason there's no japanese version of Reaper, Sequoia/Samplitude, logic, Pro tools...

Percent wise, all the DAWs in the world should be in mandarin-chinese since that's the language most humans speak/read/write.

English is an option. Not mandatory.
In theory, theory and practice are the same.
In practice, they're not.

I meant no disrespect to anyone's language or culture or world prevalence. Nor was I demanding or expecting that all releases should be in English. I was Just wondering why they don't want to tap into the English speaking market as well.

I think I read somewhere else that someone offered to translate it for them but they declined.

I understood what you meant and there was no hint of disrespect.
My post was not meant as a "bashing" of your question nor had i any intention of being disrespectful in my reply.
I just mentioned that as a remark, a curiosity.
If we were talking face to face, sharing a drink, you'd notice this as a normal, conversational remark.

I know sympathy and normal conversation doesn't travel well on the internet, but i meant no aggression. At all.
In theory, theory and practice are the same.
In practice, they're not.

Sure. But English is a lingua franca, Japanese is not.

Lingua franca is medieval latin, not english.

You're wrong. A lingua franca is 'a language or dialect systematically (as opposed to occasionally, or casually) used to make communication possible between people who do not share a native language or dialect, particularly when it is a third language that is distinct from both native languages.' (Wiki) So, English is a typical LF.

I was talking about the two words: Lingua, and franca, in an etymological sense. A joke, Max, I know what a lingua franca is. I hope you can understand me now, because my lingua franca -english- sucks. Anyway, it's not a big deal.

As i said above: sympathy doesn't travel well on the internet.

The same could be said about irony, or sarcasm, or even humour.

The internet is perfect to make enemies and create useless and pointless arguments.
Let's all take that into account and "filter out" the Internet Effect.

In practice, they're not.

Too sad there is no englsih version. I watched a youtube video about ability pro from last year. About comping and some kind of pitch correction (like melodyne).

Really impressive video. This DAW looks really good. And it seems to be equiped with professionall features. Would love to try it.

Learning Japanese shouldn't be too difficult, and reading it would be fun, their characters are easy to recognize because they're really cool looking. Much better than our boring alphabet of the lamest lettering/characters of all languages ever.

This program could be a good way to teach yourself the language, even. Just a thought. The motivation to use it, coupled with intrigue, might be enough. Japanese is the only other language I would ever bother learning, if I had the patience to learn an entire new language. I may still do it someday, since, as I mentioned, it's such a cool language. The way it sounds is pretty awesome, too. BTW there is a huge (I mean huge) torrent on TPB (though maybe it was KAT, which is sadly gone now. Hopefully it's also on TPB) with Japanese learning materials/resources! It has tons and tons of ebooks, audiobooks & I believe even software. It will take forever to download (it's over 50gb of stuff) the entire thing, but you could make the torrent client only download the ones you're interested in. :)

Just some suggestions. I know it seems a roundabout way to get to use this software, but since they'll likely never translate it & you seem to be interested in it enough, I thought I'd encourage you to learn the language!
