I have no idea how to patch it if I will re-install my OS X someday soon, but for now old activation seem to work, all I had to do is patch plugins with R2R keygen using Wine app, after that when I launch Omnisphere, it didn't ask me for activation, may be cause of the previous activation. Unfortunately, there is no guide how to do it on Mac with fresh install.

I have not been able to use omnisphere 2 on fl studio 12 as it crashes all the time,has anyone else had the same problem? and does anyone know if this update fixes that problem?

try run fl as administrator so you can input the key after patching the plugin or you could run or open Omnisphere useing this program to make it standalone

or you could open Omnisphere in any other daw so you can input the key once the key is added fl should not crash

For anyone having problems instilling this update on OSX. Install the update. Move both the AU and VST component to your desk top. right click on both the VST and AU and choose the option get info. Scroll down to the bottom and unlock the padlock. Now run Batchmod or permission reset, make sure all boxes are ticked and all inclosing folders are ticked off also.
Open Your DAW. copy the challenge code. Open R2R Keygen (MUST BE R2R KEYGEN) paste the challenge code. Patch the plug ins (Find them on your desk top!) Navigate to Contents/Resources patch the component inside. Do this for both the AU and VST. it will give you the message successfully patched! Generate response next (Copy it)
Close and re open Omnisphere inside your DAW. Paste the response code. Close and re open DAW one final time. Omnisphere should now be authorized.
Done. End of broadcast :)

I installed the first R2R/(perhaps it was HEXWARS) release of Omni2 a long time ago, obviously ran into the preset problem everyone else had, so honestly, really just stopped using omni, as it was a pita,..... And I never did the other update.... SO, my question is, can you go from the ORIGINAL R2R or HEXWARS release straight to this? Or is it necessary to do intermediate update beforehand...?

Appreciate your advice, and again, great post Bassmonsta, that will help ME and a LOT of people out I am sure.. Good man!

I went from v2.0.3d HEXWARS to this one, had to use Permissions Reset then using R2R keygen with Wine, opened vst or component files with that keygen, you open file contents and there is folder also called "Contents" then open "MacOS" you arrive to the file with the same plugin name, that is the one you should patch, after plugins works without activation, most likely cause we have done it before, so all you have to do is patch it, unless you reinstall Omnisphere freshly.By the way, same thing works for components and vst. Forgot to say, I did move both files to desktop for patching.

a bit late with my comments, I see you already got it to work, though I did it without Windows computer, but by using Wine application, search it, if you want to know about it. it can convert exe to app, though file will be big. I use it to open exe files for a short time.
