Thanks to R2R and DECiBELLE I both got the chance to try some new plug-ins that are supposed to be behind iLok2 and I learned what Hinamatsuri is. And to think way before I thought we'd have to wait for next Christmas until new stuff would possibly come. Awesome day to say the least!

It will be interesting to see how this stacks up against the MPX1 hardware, which I own. One of the things i love about the MPX is, It has some really bitchin stereo/chorus effects that really widen stuff out like I've never heard before in other processor units. But it looks like this is only the reverb section of the MPX... Bummer...

I own an mpx100. Even for a cheap old unit, the sounds when dialed in are supreme. Beat out a plugin in my experience.

Easy, Valhalla only sounds good in solo (but with bad tails), but bad in a full mix. Gets muddy.

Lexicon LPX or PCM > Valhalla all day long.
