the .cmd file usually contains a batch of shell commands.
i think you can drag/drop the file onto the terminal app...

for blocking internettraffic your best bet on osx is littlesnitch.

you could also edit the .hosts file of your os to block the site...

well got it blocked in the hosts file. .cmd in terminal did not work: "permission denied" -

plugin still only in demo work. I erased all the abl3 stuff in the plugin and application/audiorealism folder and installed the plugin again - did not help.

so everybody: Do not install the plugin without blocking the audiorealism.se website, otherwise it is in demo mode forever (as it seems) :o)

(F*** !!!)

maybe DARKh has a solution. and will read this. seems like he had same prob but now it works.

Finder > Go > Go to Folder ...

Type:
/private/etc

Your hosts file is in there. Find it and copy to desktop, open with text edit and then paste in the following:

127.0.0.1 audiorealism.se

Save hosts file and then copy over original one.
Google is not my friend. DuckDuckGo for me.

hey thanks, but did this already. cant go to www.audiorealism.se in my browser - so i think it works.

prob seems to be: when i drop .cmd file in terminal and click enter it says:
"(...)R2R/r2r-4174/R2R/audiorealism_hosts_patch.cmd: Permission denied"

El Capitan is pretty fucked up when it comes to rights and stuff.

maybe someone knows solution.

audiorealism.se is blocked. cant so to the site. still only demo mode.

maybe somewhere in my system is saved that it should run in demo forever.. dont know where..

If you have ABL 2, does this overwrite it or do they both run?

If it does overwrite ABL2 will you lose any of your patterns (ABL 2 updates deleted user patterns which was why I never updated it)?
I am using a Mac 10.14.6 and 11.7.1

Hi, yea they both run separately, but did you notice there are no patterns in presets on ABL3? In ABL2 you can chose pattern or preset whatever you call it and then click PATTERN arrows up and patterns change, but on ABL3 they are empty. Can you confirm or may be it can be fixed somehow?! Thanks
