Kush Pusher v.1.0.9 WIN-AudioUTOPiA screenshot

I didn't design Pusher to handle any specific task or fix any specific problem. I just wanted a plugin that let me texturize sounds by adding unexpected energies and overtones, in a GUI that pretty much forces me to improvise and explore.

I've gotten Pusher to make drums sound like crushing gravel, a direct guitar to sound like a vintage fuzzbox, and a human voice to sound like an alien spectre. From classic to bizarre, I keep finding new ways to distort sounds with Pusher.

That said, as often as not I instantiate this plugin just to access the diode limiter and use its distinct snap to get things popping more to the front of the mix while taking less space. It has the distinctive 'thump' of my favorite hardware diode limiters, and like the UBK-1 it injects a ton of vibe into ordinary sounds.

Your releases really blew me away. So awesome!!

A simple "Thank you" doesn't do it justice.

Working on Ableton below 9.5 and Win 10.
Works on Ableton 9.5 running in Compatibility Mode for Win 8 under Win 10.
(Same for Softube Plugins).

Pusher sounds really cool, tweaking sounds is fun. Thx!

I found the same thing, although I noticed (at least for my setup) that Ableton Live 9.5 on Windows 10 run in Compatibility Mode (for Windows 8) - really bogs down my machine, especially for working with large instruments like Omnisphere2. Not sure anyone else has this trouble, but clearly it appears to be some sort of issue with Ableton Live 9.5 and/or Windows 10? Thanks for the advice anyways!!!

Someting went wrong loading the VST plugin....Please make sure its installed and registered properly"

Studio One 3.1 and Ableton Live 9.6 dont even recognize the plugins....

But the Kush UBK-1 does....

Processing 64 bit Redistributables
exitcode: 00000000

Hi guys. Just wanted to help anyone having a problem using the AudioUTOPIA versions of the KUSH plugins in FL Studio (and possibly other DAWs). It has been said to run FL in compatibility mode to solve the issue, but I've found what I believe to be a simpler solution:

It's simple; just untick the "64 bits" option when installing the VST.

FL Studio by default "combines" 64 and 32 bit versions of plugins, and I personally like this feature. But if a 64 bit version of a plugin is causing problems, it may not be possible to tell FL to load the 32 bit version instead without first disabling the "combine 32 and 64 bit versions" option. I don't want to disable that option, so I just don't install the 64 bit version of problematic plugins and I'm good to go. An incompatible 64 bit version may be the issue in other DAWs as well, though I haven't checked that myself. I hope this helps!
