Thanks horsemen for the zippy

This is a historical day. AudioUtopia is the new king in town. I feel bad for developers like Eventide but who is serious about music production will always buy and support.

Fuck Slate and his subscription bs.

I can ear the dark, huge noise of the wide downloading flood
Reputation is an idle and most false imposition, oft got without merit and lost without deserving

Patience isn't just a virtue - it's a necessity, if one doesn't want groups who are working as hard as they can to get you (and the rest of us) the apps we love, to tell us to piss off.
The entire P2P community has been starved for a while now, with nearly no releases, because of attitudes like this - and other things as well.
But none of this is like a public service facility, as so many users have come to see it.
What these people do is art - technological art - difficult, time-consuming, and very complex in the Challenge of the Code, and then in moving an app out of the vault of "Internal Releases," (if the groups feel like it), into a community like this.
We are lucky to get anything.
This comment/demand/request is like looking at a beautiful still-life of fruit in an art gallery, and when you find the artist, saying to him/her "Mountain, please," because it would match your other paintings. I apologize if this seems harsh.
The very END of this chain are people like us, and we are not customers to please.
You joined in September, and I have to assume that the first thing you did was to read the Rules - right?
There is a place for requests, but even there, the way you have phrased this is, as though you feel like you are rolling up to a "fast food" 'restaurant,' ordering onion rings on your burger, and expecting someone to say "Yes sir, coming right up."
There is so much work being done, in so many places across the world, that no one is interested in your, or anyone else' demand.
The truth is, that you are not making an order: you are begging for a favor. This is true of any request for someone to do a great deal of work, in the shadows, for you and others.
If someone is interested in freeing an app, they will do it.
But you might, with all respect, work on an alternate method of request, and put it in the proper place.
Just a suggestion - I have no authority here, no do I ever want it.
This may help:
