Delete the whole Output/Arcade folder. Even the content and any other files that are present and then re-install the 2.0.5 full release and the utility tool will work.

Thanks 1000 Flare, I followed your advice, and between various reinstallations of java and more I finally managed to make the tool selectable, but unfortunately still, it does not generate any License and when I import line from the file. zip, remains stationary for long hours to extract the folder, without indicating the end, how can I do to understand when it has completed its extraction, before interrupting it to extract others? then I was wondering, to extract the folder, can we also do it manually and then somehow copy them inside the installation path? , I have tried several times in any way but I have not succeeded! Arcade continues to work only with its few libraries included in the setup installation, but I absolutely can't give the external library to Arcade, would it be possible somehow to perform a simple Drag and drop of the library extracted by folder? plus file replacement. db, generated by another windows session that completed the import enterprise? of course by replacing some lines manually from the file, a bit like it was done in Nexus 3 by replacing the path lines from the file. json, obviously we appreciate your hard work, legendary FLARE but this could be a great help to those like me who still can't import the V2 Library into Arcade2 without the use of the Tool that we are not good at understanding, thanks for everything, Esteemed TEAM FLARE!

A progress bar would be really useful for a future update! That way we have some feedback or whether the tool is working for us or not.

I followed every step, started importing from .zip and the tool generated a folder with the containing files but never changes the .db file so they never show up in Arcade. Again, the tool has been showing "Importing Line(s)" for hours, no result. Am I missing a step the text file didnt include? Do I have to copy the generated folder in Arcade's Content Folder?, if thats the case, it didnt state anything like it in the instructions, Im lost and confused here. Any advide?

Regardless of my frustrations, your effort is much appreciated! Thank you so much for everything you guys for the community!

I figured my problem out. Maybe this can help others:

First of all, when the text states that we need to download the packs from the new content "Output Arcade Sound Library Content V2", we really need to, because even if we unzip .iso's from the previews version, they will not work with this one. The main reason I was stuck is because I was using the old ones, they will not work, since they have been updated with more samples and tweaks.

Two, make sure you Run the App as Adminitrator, I know it may not sound like a gamechanger, but depending on your settings, your computer might not allow the program to execute all of its functions properly, unless it is running as Adminstrator.

Three, it did really take about 4 to 5 hours for the bigger libraries with more kits to finish importing, it might also be your case, be patient.

Four, when the tool is done importing one library (complete line or expansion), is does actually show "Importing Line Completed" at the bottom. I saw someone asking whether they can delete the folder generated by the tool after importing; the answer is yes. This should not cause any problem since the tool unpacks the file to be able to copy them in the Arcade Folder, after is shows it is done, you can delete the unnecesary files.

Five, a way to know if the tool is writing and importing the Lines correctly is by opening the Arcade Folder inside your "ProgramData" directory in your Hard Drive. After you start importing, the tool will take a few minutes unpacking the librady, after that, you will notice the the size of certain files inside the Arcade Folder are changing size and Last Modified categories every two seconds. This activity is the tool writing on the database file of Arcade, if that is happening, that means that the is tool importing correctly and will take some time to be ready writing samples one by one.

A progress bar would still be really useful for a future update!

Overall, great work FLARE, the effort figuring it out was definityly worth it. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the tool, the vst is installed and is ok but the utility doesn’t start (I am on Sierra and Live 10.1) I know there are other guys with this problem..
My question is another: it’s possible to import on Windows the full library to an external hd and after that change the path on arcade library (Mac version) to work with that?

Thanx in advance and good produce to all

Flare thank you - question about your tool interface...

If I want to use Sound Design and Kit Creator modes, should the buttons display "Enable" or "Disable"? for ON?

Because it's a toggle in a flat box - Its hard to know if displays "Enable" that means - yes its on, or if it displays "Disable" that means its off.

it's difficult to know with a toggle.

Can you clarify that for us please?

Thanks for all your good work.

Thank You Flare.
I just installed everything and works great.

except: the libraries " honey and Lead'' are not listed in the import utility.
'Sazon' is getting stuck on importing.

great tool.

so I just installed everything over like 2 hours, yet at the end my 'arcade content' folder only shows like 51 GB when all the zip files together were like 78 gb? if anything shouldnt it be even bigger after decompression? what is going on here? (yes I definitely installed all the lines, one after the other, and waited until the message that it was successful for each one)
(I am on mojave and did install content on external hd after changing content location in arcade preferences) thanks!

A few lines have the same sources, samples and files so its expected to be less than the overall zip file size.

ok, that much less? so you’re saying I’m good, around 51 gigs is what should be expected for the whole thing?

Hello Flare team, Thanks for your wonderful job!

Actually I'm experiencing a weird problem. Everything is working okey when i import lines using Utility tool v2, but I notice two things :
1: I can't bulk import lines, I need to do it one by one...
2 (the most weird) : every time I add a line i notice that the older lies are duplicated in the arcade lines browser, I find several duplicates and it make my library huge with the same kits ....
can you help fix that please? thanks
I'm on Big Sur 11.6

Hey Flare and AudioZ users.

I know a lot of people are having varying degrees of success. Its difficult to know why these issues and success vary for each user.

My recent experience with this tool started ok, but now I've hit a Brick-wall and I'm struggling for a solution if anyone knows of one.

The first time I used the tool, it began unzipping "After Hours" in the library folder and began transferring across to the Arcade Content folder. 5 hours later, the tool was still saying it was importing, although the folder size had not changed for 4.5 hours.

I quit the tool, and restarted again but now... nothing is happening with ANY of the zipped Libraries no matter what I try.

Heres what I did to troubleshoot:

Mojave 10.14.6 is my music machine

1. Restarted Mac
2. Deleted the entire Arcade folder and did a reinstall from scratch.
3. Deleted "flare arcade tool" prefs from prefs folder
4. Tried running the Tool from desktop instead of downloads folder.
5. Moved ARCADE ZIP Content files to the desktop instead of pointing to my external drive.
6. Applied terminal commands to the tool (just in case)
7. Tried installing arcade content directly to my system drive not external
8. Did a permissions repair on my system
9. Created a new user and tried running from new user
10. Gave up and tried a completely different Mac running Big Sur
11. Let the tool import 1 line and left the tool running overnight on both machines
12. 16 hrs later, both tools are still running on both machines but Arcade content file size has not changed.
13. Re-downloaded the tool again and tried.
14. Still scratching my head as what to try next

Unfortunately, I've done everything I can think of but so far for me, running the tool produces no results. I can select the Archive/Line I want to import, but the tool just runs and no content is imported into the Arcade Content folder, and it doesn't unpack the archive like it did that 1 and only time I first ran it.

With much respect to Flare and all their hard work, I would love to get this running. Can anyone suggest something I haven't tried?

Flare, do you have any suggestions on what could be causing this issue and why it won't run on two different Macs with Operating systems? Will you be releasing an update to the tool in the coming future?

Thanks again to Flare for their hard work and for bringing us such magic. Any suggestions from AudioZ users are very welcomed. Much respect to everyone!

SINC :D

update: I just tried updating all my Javas to the latest versions, now the utility opens and the scroll list is blank and no buttons are clickable. lol ugh :/

Hi SINC001,
I'm on macOS BIG SUR 11.6 and I had the same problem and tried everything like you did.

Until i found the solution with downloading the PARTICLES library files again for a final test...

And I uncompressed the RAR archive with KEKA and not with THE UNARCHIVER, and then it works flawlessly.

So I downloaded again the whole library content (...) and uncompressed it with KEKA (the RAR files containing the whole library, important to not unzip each library files found in the ARCADE LiBRARY CONTENT folder), and it works with FLARE ARCADE UTILITY 2.0..

It took me three days to find a working solution for me.

Thanks buddy - will try out tonight. I went one step further with all my screwing around, and now the installer won't validate/install anything by Output. I was trying to roll back to my previous version of Arcade (1.6) as I have a session that I was using it in.. and I couldn't. Any installer by Output now keeps saying "installation failed". Deleted all my package receipts and went to town trying to get any Output installer to work. In the end, and thank god, I was able to install the package via Pacifist and the package installed. In the process, I've now created a total salad of my operating system trying to get this thing to work. I also managed to get the Tool now working too... and I swear I don't know why it just started working out of the blue.. I'll try your method to install the lines tonight but I will NEVER go to this extent trying to get a crack to run again. I lost a lot of time and shot myself in the foot by screwing up my system in the process. If it doesn't work the first time, so be it! Better to consider myself unlucky than go through this again. lol - I appreciate you validating my troubles. Cheers and thanks for your help!

I simply can't get this to work. I downloaded latest 2.0.7 and it works but I cannot import any libraries. v2 Utility gives me this error: FLARE Arcade v2.0 Utility cannot be opened because of a problem. I tried using v1 Utility instead but it just says that the import was successful immediately after I click import but I don't think it did anything because nothing shows up.

On Big Sur M1.

Workaround option...for those having importing library errors/failures/not showing etc.
How I got the libraries to appear in Arcade on Mac Mojave (and above Im guessing)

1. Install Arcade on a PC
2. Import your libraries via Utility tool V2
3. Copy the "Arcade" folder from your PC - C:\ProgramData\Output\Arcade
(you will need an external drive to paste it to then connect it to your Mac)
4. Paste it to your Mac directory - Library/Application Support/Output

Ps: Press "Forget USB" if u get a message regarding Audio Content library.
