i can't speak for anyone else, but this takes very little resources. so it's worth having just for that reason.. bread and butter synth some might say : )

Yeah, very good synth; lite on resources. Make sure u delete every trace of 2.6 version before installing 2.8. Also tips about renaming keyfile txt & putting in the right location should get it working ok. Works fine on Win10, multiple DAWs bridged & not. Blocked their website in hosts, not sure if it makes any diff?

Anyway, maybe waiting for compatible presets, but y'know, who cares?

For windows 10 just delete the dash along with windows at the end of key (SynthMasterLicenseKey) and drop it in the synthmaster folder and your golden

i made a fresh installation on OS X Sierra, and copied the key file in the two locations recommended, but Ableton Live 9 crash as soon as i try to open Synthmaster

try to delete the config file, but you will be able to load and play , but when you go through the presets it can crash again

It worked absolutely fine for me,..

WHen you say "2 places", I have no idea what you are talking about...

The nfo said to place the key file in Documents/Synthmaster... I did that, and that's it.

Well, in the dada.txt file says, copy the license file in: - Macintosh HD /Library/Application Support/KV331 Audio/SynthMaster

Then people say we have to put in Documents/Syntmaster, and I did it too.

I tryed too deleting the config file without success.

So... I don't know how it can works for you. Witch OS version and Ableton Live version do you have?

EDIT: HEre's something odd... Last night I decided, ehh... "f" it... I'm deleting Synthmaster... SO I did... the plugins and Synthmaster folder... Today, since I liked the Akai preset so much, I decided to reinstall... when I did, I noticed the Synthmaster folder, WAS NOT in Documents... ??? Normally, the installer would place one in there, with all kinds of other files.

But this didn't happen... Luckily I still had the original install's files in my trash, so I just put them back.

This might be what people are being screwed by. If you had a previous install, but "deleted" it all, the new synthmaster installer still must know that you had it there... so there's probably some hidden files maybe?... who knows, just a thought.

Let's see if synthmaster still works for me after trying to delete it... than putting it back.

Uninstalled and reinstalled again without success.

Logic X crashes when i open the Plugin. Also Live 9.7

Here oSX 10.12.6

I have a problem i used a firewall to block my fl studio from conecting to internet, but when im scanning the plugins and the registration pop up i fill it with the information given , but then says that a problem ocurred with the connection and give me an error some idea of what is happening or what i have to do

Try to register when ur totally offline? It may not register "properly", if it thinks u got internet, and will keep trying to verify? Then u can prolly reconnect afterwards...

can't get it to work.

i've chosen a custom install folder and put the license in nearly every recommended folder:

Documents/Synthmaster
Synthmaster28
Synthmaster28Temp
.../VST/Synthmaster/...

when Ableton starts to scan for it, the serial/register message windows pops up. I have turned of the internet beforehand, but it seems like it doesn't find the license.

Good luck trying to buy anything online from them...doesn't work! This is ridicules, you get error windows every time you try to order online!

And their tech support......NONE! I've tried and 2 of my friends tried to contact them...F...kin ZERO reply!! What a shame.

Unbelievable... No wonder they get their stuff cracked.

Reason I say you "should" be all set is because I tried the cracked "everything bundle" couple years ago and it was buggy. One time there was a ringing so loud I got an instant migraine headache and had to run to the bathroom... that's how bad it scared me... not joking that literally did happen. Then my daw crashed almost immediately after. I actually wanted to call up their customer service and hand the phone to my 8 year old niece and have her let out the loudest shriek and then hang up to see how they like it lol.
So block the program itself... the plugin, standalone, and your daw. These guys are tricky... not like U-he tricky but like Tone2 tricky. U-he won't give you a fatal brain aneurism.

Absolutely true. It doesn't work and this synth is really buggy. I would help by buying it but since I haven't any response too and is 'impossible' to buy it online (and I have try several times with 3 different computer as well) I will surely go by using this version and win firewall, again they loosed another potential customer.

For those of you who are wondering, install this over 2.6 and move the licence key provided with this download to the synthmaster folder in your Document folder.

When using the plugin in your daw turn the internet off...however I have found when I do not have my daw open I can turn the internet on as normal and continue to look for plugins but turn it off when I want to use synthmaster

I also deleted the online preset smpr file in the synmaster presets folder just for good measure
