Sorry if I sound repetitive. I'm a noob and get scared easily by Omnisphere's complexity. I have the great great Pirate version (omni soft 2.7.0f, sound source 2.6.1c and patches 2.7.0c. It works very well! Shall I install this release on top of it and that's it?

"error loading waveform" is only about your library healt not installation.

Your library seems to be corrupted or maybe the zmap issue, or the moog tribute...

Search in google to restore zmap or updates with your moog tribute and keyscape if you got it.

PD: the easy way should be delete the zmap index file into

STEAM\Omnisphere\Soundsources\Factory\Core Library

And then install the last soundsource update so next time you´ll open Omnisphere the zmap index will be created, If you got keyscape open it too.

Can I install this over my R2R Omnisphere v2.4 and then simply direct it to my existing STEAM folder?

I get an error message during installation.

This message reads: "E: \ Spectrasonic - STEAM \ STEAM \ Omnisphere \ defauts \ Parameter Rankings.db

The existing file is marked as read-only.

Click Retry to remove the read-only attribute and try again.
Ignore to skip this file, or Abort to cancel installation ".

Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Okay that's good ! I found the solution. I unchecked the "read-only" box for all the files it was requesting. it took me a little while to uncheck everything, but in the end it worked.

Hello everybody, someone can share the zmpap.index for "moog tribute library".
The new Omnisphere 2 Software 2.8.1c have a time bomb, impossible to create zmap.index
(don't delete this files).

Then if you delete zmap.index you d'ont have acces to the preset and of courses to the sound.
Omnisphere don't create again the zmap.index.
