yes, with wifi off no more freeze in Ableton Live (open and close the Plugin)




this fix the delayed start in Ableton
(but the closing still have the issue)

I got it to work. The Cypher installer which occurs after the Strobe installation seems to delete Strobe2. component. So I first deleted all the files found by searching internal ssd for "strobe2", which is just /Users/Shared/ROLI/Soundpacks

After that, I re-ran the VR Strobe2 installer. When that finishes, it next shows it wants to install Cypher. Reboot. It still will not show up. Reinstall Strobe2. It will install and not continue on to the Cypher installer, and it will not delete the AU component.

@MisterBee comment about second install after reboot does the trick. If not, you can catch the Strobe2.component as soon as you see the progress bar show the AU was installed.

Even the standalone version of the app? For me, VST2, AU are operating fine though it did crash Live 12 once. The standalone version won't open for me. I seem to recall the demo version also wouldn't launch. Any idea on getting the standalone app working?

BTW, is the FXpansion license manager application critical here? Can it be removed?

I can't see VST3 here..
only VST2 in 2025, it's possible?

I found the correct installer in one of the links and it works. No issues for both Stobe and Cyber on M3 Max under Logic. Thank you!
